I've picked up this game again recently after playing in the beta and I've not used a single weapon other than the light sniper's default build so far. It scratches the itch that the MWII remake did. Just so long as I don't play escort too much cause that makes me rage 😂
I love how you can actually see how good players are on average and can actually appreciate their skill. Call of duty you can't tell cause sbmm literally rigs their win low ratio/kill rate. I'm not playing bo6. Xdefiant actually rewards skill.
You can use the reinforce a stock on the snipers and it takes away 25% flinch but I don’t have a problem not having it on but is nice to have a class with it for the longer ranged maps
My first time watching you , I’m level 25 and trying to do well because it’s so enjoyable, I’m having fun on a first person since like bo3 bo4 , but it’s safe to say this kitty guy is so insanely good . His awareness , game sense and certain opportunities are top notch. When someone invests in a game and even better a cool class like sniping in fast paced games is such a skill . Bravo pal 🤝

Going off the 10+yrs I’ve spent playing fps games - I honestly think it depends on being in the right place at the right time ( know the map inside & out, as well as knowing all spawning points & flow/direction )
Normally i would back snipers and die on that hill, but im kind of glad they nerfed them at least a little. As ive aged a little it's nice to come home from work and play a game and not have to worry about getting one shot by everyone i look at. I like knowing that in most cases people are running around with submachine guns and assault rifles and enjoying it rather than every other person using a one shot sniper because it can be abused. Absolutely love sniping since black ops 1 but i have to say, it's nice to see less sniper glints when i ADS for once.
yeah i want sniping to be a challenge, not everyone should be able to do it. With that being said, most casuals who claim sniping is OP can barely break 30 kills, let alone 80+.

I think thats why i liked the springfield so much from ww2 because it was so satisfying when you hit a quad feed in a dumb spot because that gun scoped in just slow enough for it to be a challenge making it so much fun. It reminded me of the l96 from bo1 because if you timed and centered your shots right and went by #aimhigher, you were gonna have a good day :) I will always love og cod sniping. I was garbage at og mw mainly because of ttk and the maps i just didnt like them or the feel of the game, but treyarch held my spoon up so i got a good taste of cod and man i was addicted to the dsr as well as zombies. Everybody always asked me why id always pick the dsr over the ballista and i always said its just so dang satisfying and theyd always be like "really? That's it?" And in the back of my mind im realising it takes some skill to hit with that gun because its quite different from the ads speed and fire rate of the ballista, however the ballista had a thing for hitmarkers so if you didnt aim high with it you were shooting somebodies foot instead. But yeah these days i just like to run at people and either snap or clear a hill a few matches, and then go play an rpg or something 💀
I didnt snipe while it was "op" on purpose. I picked up sniper today and had my first 2 matches even KD, then a 2, then a 5 kd . Snipers are 100% not nerfed, I would go as far as to say, balanced on the side of caution. They feel great esp after a couple mods.
The main reason im not playing x defiant is the annoying skulls that pop up right beside your crosshair when getting kills. What a bad ui implementation.
Bro I don't have a ps5 or pc sadly only an old ps4 that's on its last legs but i tried the game on my friends ps5 and oh my God I love the sniping and game in general my first few matches I was getting absolutely destroyed but once I got the hang of it I started popping off a bit and went 55-23. Sadly soon after that I went home so I can't wait to get the chance to play again. I barely even wanna touch cod anymore but sadly I'm stuck with mw3
to be fair, like 75% of these clips the enemy wasn't even shooting at you. Sick kill feeds, but the only thing this proves to me is sniper is to forgiving on 1 hit kills.
I'm not gonna just full on charge at them, that's just stupid af to do as a sniper. After this flinch nerf, if people are still getting shit on upclose by a sniper... that's a skill issue on their end. It's dumb easy to outplay a sniper

They have time to nerf the only good class but have not time to fix their shit server latency issues or shotguns. I get kicked out of literally every 2 to 3 matches for "latency errors" when I have less than 50 ping. Also you can barrel snuff somebody with the best shotgun and upgrades and still only do 70 damage. That's not even to mention the rest of the general balance issues. This game has SOO much potential. It would be nice if a developer could just release an actually good game for once and not just something near the mark.
U realise nerfing snipers and fixing hit reg are COMPLETELY different things. Implementing a sniper nerf isn’t stopping or slowing them from fixing the net code bud. Fixing the net code will take longer and can’t be done in one simple patch. Also ur the only person I’ve seen complain about “latency errors” so that is probably on ur end so stop being an idiot and complaining about shit u know nothing about.
I do suck because I don’t get into bot lobby’s like you who don’t even shoot back and run past you trash content like you shooting afks in your cod intros and thinking it’s a clip🤣🤣🤣

Well game has no matchmaking so there are def matches where you go up against really bad players. Thats where these clips are probably from

yeah but you lose an ADS or rate of fire attachment by using that.

m44 is definitely faster, but generally gets way more hitmarkers.
I didn’t even notice there was a nerf on snipers. I mostly hit quick scopes (I’m not a pro) but that’s how I play.
