    This is a way to draw a dodecahedron inside an icosahedron, using the principles of sacred geometry.
    A regular dodecahedron has 12 pentagonal faces and 20 vertices. A regular icosahedron has 20 triangular faces and 12 vertices. Both forms are platonic solids.
    The centers of the faces of a regular dodecahedron are the vertices of a regular icosahedron and the centers of the faces of a regular icosahedron are the vertices of a regular dodecahedron.
    Both regular polyhedra are "dual polyhedra" and therefore fit inside each other.

    Thank you for this awesome tutorial, I fully enjoyed it and am inspired to draw my own two forms from one set of points!
    For anyone else who may have been a little lost like me...
    At first I was confused on how the compass was used to draw a perpendicular line and had to reverse engineer... the artist doesn't use any particular measurement of the spread of the compass, as long as it is spread wider than the radius of the original circle, then you make arcs on either side of the circle from the top, and then arcs on both sides from the bottom, and then draw a line connecting the point where the arcs intersect on the left to the point where the arcs intersect on the right.
    Same method with drawing the single perpendicular line at the top, except with the compass spread less than the original radius. Draw an arc with the top as the center down into the circle, and then with the original center as the center, draw an arc towards the top. You will get a football or eye shape. draw the line from the left corner of the eye to the right corner of the eye. It makes sense, it finds a line equidistant from point 6 to point 0.
    Hope that helps or maybe I alone was confused ;)
