- The video is about how I've replaced the rubber grips on Panasonic Lumix GH4 camera, it's a 'how to' video but with text and ASMR sounds. Hope it will be helpful to someone.
It's not Philips headscrews on Panasonic Lumix, they are JIS which is a bit different and the driver can easily slip from the screw slot and strip it out.
clean it with water ?
i remove power on off button but now i don't know how to reassemble it with all the parts that came out of the button (spring, balls and metal clips)
Great work 😊
Thanks buddy, hope it'll last.
How much would it roughly cost to replace all the rubber grip on the gh5 .?
*do u know where can i get a new off/on switch ?*
awesome video btw
Thank you. I cannot find any on/off switch on ebay but I've bought every part from this seller. Maybe you can ask him directly if he can acquire it for you. www.ebay.com/usr/jianhuaxian0
@@repairspace9400 thanks a lot dude, really appreciate it and again amazing video 🙏🏻
@@mynameissamy No problem Samy, good luck on finding that switch.
I'm trying to do the grips on a gh5, is that similar to this?
Did you find instructions for gh5. I need to do the same thing.
@@voroshmitov the replacement part I order had the entire SD door and grip section. In order to replace that grip section you must dissassemble the entire camera , it attaches somewhere behind the main board.
I broke my camera in the process of doing this so I would say it's not worth it to try to replace the grip section.
I think the SD door can be replaced separately and that might be safer but don't do anything where you need to open the camera up
@@joshh7213 Thank you for reply, i ordered the same part. I would take my camera to service and ask them to replace it in that case :)
such a bad design. why on earth do I need to disassemble the whole camera just to replace the rubber cover.
