@Vegeta 06 I know this is old but he did say in the video that there is an acoustic version with a Gospel choir for the song Dig Down. So now 2 years later what did you think of the acoustic version, it does have what Matt said was gonna be in it, acoustic guitar and Gospel Choir. He did leave out the fact he was gonna add a piano to it but to my ear it is still as good as the original. To me both versions was good just like Something human both are good in their own way.
The new song is great, I've had it playing in my head all day/night yesterday (when I wasn't actually listening to it). Can't wait for the album! (It better come out November 16...) Also, nobody does DVDs anymore? Sure, blu-rays may be the more popular thing nowadays, but it's still essentially the same thing, and a lot of people buy those (as well as DVDs)... What world are *you* living in, Matt?!
Pasc Storrer well funny you say that because right now I sit next to the greatest Rammstein Fan ever. However I feel your pain ;) But maybe November will bring you happiness too ;)
I felt Matt pretty nervous in the interview, can tell this song is so personal for him and he must feel bare naked, like stripping his feelings out for the way he’s looking at Dom the whole time looking for support and he’s drinking water, oh my he’s so precious
Matthew Bellamy I don’t get the need to call me nerd and say all that bullshit, wet dreams? What are you, 13? Stfu and gtfo of my mentions if you’re going to say nonsense shit, what I said it’s nothing more than a feeling based on Matt’s behavior and corporal expressions in the interview, it’s nothing I’m just making up, also Matt himself has said that this song is waaaay personal for him, he’s talking about missing be home with his family, with his girlfriend, so yeah I think it’s pretty personal, so next time you’re gonna write something stupid think twice ;)
I feel like Matt said "Fury 2" in the wrong context, He said that replying to a comment about how heavy it is. the song's point is mainly alike fury, but i can see the tiniest it of fury in the song but not enough to compare it to fury.
I wouldn't put too much thought into it tho. Matt doesn't care too much how it will be released so their label will probably handle this and they will look for ways to make profit and I'm certain a Drones DVD/CD would make profit seeing how many other small artists still do DVDs.
Porg Yeah I think so too. Like they released the Olympic Stadium show, I don't know why that wouldn't work today. Tour DVDs or Blu-Rays are only for the fans anyway and like you said, there still would be demand for it. Put a CD to it, add some extra stuff and boom. At least here in the European market these kinds of releases still sell well.
I saw the movie last week and thought, I should see shows like this all the time! It's a great way to bone up for the show. The camera work is a little frenetic, but the sound is terrific and I love the close up cameras. Bravo!
Well, I had a classmate at school that used to speak so fast that sometimes the teachers would have to tell her they couldn't understand her. She beats him in what "fast speaking"is. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah maybe, that's true. I just don't like the idea of having an album that looses its spirit over fan service, as cool as these songs could be. It's just weird to have the same songs twice on an album. But I suppose that for a second disc they'd need more than just two or three songs…
the album is called simulation theory ...you can find it on wikip of muse 8th album...also it's been revealed in the video something human...i thought when i saw that could this be the title of the album...i was curious & look it up...& indeed it is...anyway..11 tracks is great even more greater with the extra tracks on it....
crammia I can't wait for this new tour. I honestly think the smaller shows will be in Europe but it would be nice to get small club gigs in us. Either way I'm going to go see them when they come over here
I'm with you! We traveled to NY to see them last year, made a little trip out of it. Will do again - we are really considering going to England too if they do another "by request". The Shepards Bush gig last year was the most incredible set list to me
crammia same here, I drove 4 hours to see them during the amphitheater tour. I could only wish to be able to see a setlist like the shepherds bush one but there's no way I would be able to get tickets to a show like that with my luck
I know, it's absurd right? That's why a bunch of us wore Tshirts with lyrics of Uprising to their concert in Shanghai. My friend brought along a huge flag that says "They will not control us". Didn't know if Matt saw that tho.
I hope the 11 tracks on the album are all different track and the duplicates/alternatives are the 6 'bonus' tracks which I hope are available on the cd/download. Good there's hard rock on there. 2nd law-esque perhaps?
interesting ..11 tracks will be on the album + extra versions of some tracks...very curious about it...about the 3 singles they have released so far..as i feel it …& it's just my thought on it...it can be it's not the best on the album...they save the best tracks when the album comes out...it's a smart way to do..as it comes on selling the +- less good tracks...but...oke...i look forward to it how it all sound like as a whole...incl the album name arts ….indeed..i am very curious...
Jonathan Garrido he has a huge family with six kids, so he always busy with them. but he has said that he misses matt and dom and they say they miss him too so hopefully he can make it out for some interviews
I kind of looked at it as a "spiritual successor" but can see where you're coming from. I mean, even a song like Falling Down from their far earlier work still showed they always had a penchant for sticking softer and prettier songs on every album amid their normally "controlled-chaos anthems". It all stands as a testimony to a constantly evolving band to me, whereas most bands just kinda get stagnant. Muse NEVER has (even with some "sound-a-like"songs).
OMG MATT MENTIONED MALAYSIA 😭😭😭 it's so funny he said this 5 years ago. years later they came here last july, and it happens to be after the _fiasco_ (iykyk 💀). they truly acknowledge what each country's laws. yet they respect them. like china, they can't perform uprising. they cannot comply that and decided not to perform at all rather than take any risk. this is why muse is really GREAT 🥹

not allow to SPIT lah 😭 funny how they mentioned this 5 years before. and then they came here last two months. at the same time it was 1 week after the _fiasco_ 💀 so they defo know what's going on to the country they visit and they respect it. like for china, rather than take a risk, they just don't come at all
oh yeah...russia..control...opression..despair..ffs. If it goes through your ears even at shows such as this one, i barely can imagine the whole colossal level of antirussian propoganda. amazing)
Guys, if this is what getting in touch with your soft side results in, bury it. Ignore it. Drink it the fuck out of you. Because it clearly saps you of any inspiration, any fire, any fucking thing that's necessary for making great music. This is a turgid, awful song. Thank you for showing the positive side of this track with actual musical knowledge. I can totally understand why so many people don't like this track but calling it shit just because it's pop (and not even "mainstream"), it doesn't mean it's bad. Though I have to admit, I also like the acoustic version better.
It is musically uninteresting to me. Same with their previous stuff: Thought Contagion, Psycho, Dead Inside, The Handler (not a terrible song). I don't dislike the song because of the "vibe" of the song, it just sounds lazy.
"I think we are missing someone, and I'm not talking about Chris" lol
Origin of Symmetry bruhh
I could spend my whole life watching muse's interviews
am I the only one that thinks that Muse should do an "Unplugged" album/DVD? it'll be awesome
"No one does DVD anymore nowadays" says Matt after I ordered 3 DVDs online :D
Im lovin what Dom's done to his hair.
Well I'm veeery interested in that "usual stuff" on the album 🤔. And really excited for the acoustic extras 😍.
I'm so excited for this album, I'm sure it will be fantastic!
It'll be Muse, that's good enough for me. I'm easy to please. 😀
@Jamie Rockwell A standard of great music? Haha bless you, man
@ThinWhiteAxe Definitely!
@Jamie Rockwell Sure is! Haha
Jamie Rockwell thought contagion is the only good one so far. Can't be bothered with the other 2
Second! Can’t wait for the next album. Love the feel of this song.
the acoustic version of dig down? that looks cool
IHasNoLife Productions Matt just said there is gonna be acoustic lol
I know! I love that song and can't wait for the acoustic version!
@Vegeta 06 I know this is old but he did say in the video that there is an acoustic version with a Gospel choir for the song Dig Down. TheDuffyGMER64 no one buys dvds anymore the quality is so fucking horrific what are you on about
The song is BULLSHIT.
Nobody uses Blue Rays anymore either, honestly.
It's cheaper for them to give the movie to Netflix instead of selling a bunch of dvds
Since you like the original, do check out my Acapella cover of the song and let me know what you think :) ua-cam.com/video/JC-sd9dApto/v-deo.html
this is how smart muse to entertain us.. lovely talk
November! Can't wait! It's been too long...
MrMummy Never say “it’s been too long” to a Rammstein fan! 😄
Pasc Storrer well funny you say that because right now I sit next to the greatest Rammstein Fan ever. However I feel your pain ;) But maybe November will bring you happiness too ;)
MrMummy Haha yes, a new Rammstein album as well as a new Muse album. This year ends great! Greetings to your Rammstein fan! :)
Or a Tool fan....
I felt Matt pretty nervous in the interview, can tell this song is so personal for him and he must feel bare naked, like stripping his feelings out for the way he’s looking at Dom the whole time looking for support and he’s drinking water, oh my he’s so precious
Carbells I wish Matt would strip more... 👀💦
don't think so. He behaves all normal I feel.
Matthew Bellamy if you genuinely felt uncomfortable with my comment, then why are you baiting further response from me?
Matthew Bellamy well Matt has said himself that he feels this song is distinctly 'intimate' in comparison to the rest of the band's discography
"harder rock on it as well" yeah boi
Flo Ryan I'm excited for this as well but be careful of what Matt says. He said Thought Contagion was "Fury 2"
I feel like Matt said "Fury 2" in the wrong context, He said that replying to a comment about how heavy it is. the song's point is mainly alike fury, but i can see the tiniest it of fury in the song but not enough to compare it to fury.
He said during another interview Thought contagion is the most rock song of the album... I don't understand...
Spiralia Statica The Dark Side is very likely to be the most rock song on Simulation Theory
@@emmamorris6577 How wrong you were ^_^ haha.
The host in the off and the video cutting makes it look like the other host is a ventriloquist 😂
How does the interviewer talk without moving his mouth?
:D is strange every time, but is someone else who talk...don't know where he's hide :D :D
He's a ventriloquist...🤣😂
Something Human is still my favorite song of theirs
I love these interviews. You guys make it really fun and I love hearing Muse talk. Keep putting these up! 👍👍👍
"Nobody does DVDs anymore" what? They don't? Am I living in the past?
That's two of us then..
I mean in some markets maybe, but they're still a factor in the industry overall. I don't understand his statement either.
I wouldn't put too much thought into it tho. Matt doesn't care too much how it will be released so their label will probably handle this and they will look for ways to make profit and I'm certain a Drones DVD/CD would make profit seeing how many other small artists still do DVDs.
Daytona i think that if they put put a blu-ray/cd combo or something, it would sell really well because most of the fans want to own it physically

Bravo!
The you got lucky. The sound wasn´t really fantastic in the movie theatre which I saw it in.
He speaks as fast as Eminem sings
Well, I had a classmate at school that used to speak so fast that sometimes the teachers would have to tell her they couldn't understand her. She beats him in what "fast speaking"is. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well eminem isn't sing, he is rappin
I love them sooo much
Can't wait for November :)
Welcome back Muse ohh Love love
I love it!
Too funny,these guys!....and too lovely...😘😘😘
Simulation Theory is the title of the next album!
4:22 Matt's like "fuck, he's actually right..."
Betty Nice ♥️😍
so basically those other versions are gonna be b-sides? PLEASE TELL ME B-SIDES ARE BACK
Or maybe a second disc.
I hope it's a second disc, but I fear they're just gonna put them all at the end of the album…
Mickaël Perrier having a second disc would fit in well with the alternate reality / simulation theme they're going for with the album.
Yeah maybe, that's true. I just don't like the idea of having an album that looses its spirit over fan service, as cool as these songs could be. It's just weird to have the same songs twice on an album. But I suppose that for a second disc they'd need more than just two or three songs…
Mickaël Perrier don't worry, he said at 6:46 that they have 7 or 8 extra tracks so I'm pretty sure it'll be a double disc.
the album is called simulation theory ...you can find it on wikip of muse 8th album...also it's been revealed in the video something human...i thought when i saw that could this be the title of the album...i was curious & look it up...& indeed it is...anyway..11 tracks is great even more greater with the extra tracks on it....
i've never thought i'd see matt talking about football
Rubens Assis Well, being in a band with Chris, one would have to sometime...
Simpatica intervista ♥️
A couple of smaller scale shows... hopefully small gigs in the us, can't wait
yes, yes YES - I didn't want to go to another festival to see them, love the shows for hardcore fans!

China not letting them play uprising
Arcana Realm Muse is powerful, you know? Dangerous.
In what kind of condition is a country that has to fear a song about revolution.
Wow, China must have serious issues.
I know, it's absurd right? That's why a bunch of us wore Tshirts with lyrics of Uprising to their concert in Shanghai. My friend brought along a huge flag that says "They will not control us". Didn't know if Matt saw that tho.
吴诗桐 wow, that's cool :)
Did you face any consequences?
I hope the 11 tracks on the album are all different track and the duplicates/alternatives are the 6 'bonus' tracks which I hope are available on the cd/download. Good there's hard rock on there. 2nd law-esque perhaps?
Muse should get the award for best duo (lol)
They are not a duo
The joke is that chris is never there
fuck dom is super tanned!
It's called "going to the beach". 🤣
♥️🔥🎁😍
i like video klip and also great song very sofly
If you wonder why you don't see Matt's face on the left side... he got bit by a werewolf.
I guess the werewolf was hungrier than him.
Ahahahah😝
Small scale by request show in the U.S. ?!?!?!
I want this in the wooooorssst way!
9:34 Estos mexicanos v: xd
Dam Cruz que pinche vergüenza
Dom looks like he was bored by it (like most of us) and was being polite and humouring Matt
I think they don't like interviews... But they love theirs fans and they need advertising for the new album...

Dom looks tan af
People who think that I speak extremely fast should listen to this guy... 😅
A sexy cop...yep
Bad research ... Chris drinks no more.
How are the interviewer's lips when he is talking half of the time???
Because there's another interviewer in the room.
"well this is a very traditional song for us" guess they don't even try to disimulate anymore jadhfjshs nice
Matt looks tired as hell😂
But why is Chris never in the interviews, genuine question
Jonathan Garrido he has a huge family with six kids, so he always busy with them. but he has said that he misses matt and dom and they say they miss him too so hopefully he can make it out for some interviews
he's always tried avoiding them. he doesn't feel very comfortable with them you can tell.
@@mylanaa thats a huge lie lmao they are best friends and loves hanging out with them. if he didn't, he wouldn't be in the same band for over 20 years

Any Muse fans knows this sound is not new. They have had tracks like this on every album for decades now. Meh radio.
Remy Carreiro the different sound is the only redeeming quality of anything, whereas Dig Down was a clone of Madness
I kind of looked at it as a "spiritual successor" but can see where you're coming from. SHAME ON YOU, MUSE
Spoiler alert: It's shit.
Perfectly encapsulates what makes me love Muse: Their ability to excel in whichever genre they take a shine to without losing the musicality at their core.
No, this is not as raw as 'Agitated,' as brooding as 'Ruled By Secrecy,' as harmonically daring as 'Take A Bow.'
It's not trying to be any of those things, it's pushing itself as an accessible pop track and does so fabulously without sounding like a poor attempt to profit. That alteration of the chorus chords from the bridge (F#min, E, A, A7/C#, D) is simple but extremely effective. The warmth the A7 brings is wondrous.
Thank you for showing the positive side of this track with actual musical knowledge. I can totally understand why so many people don't like this track but calling it shit just because it's pop (and not even "mainstream"), it doesn't mean it's bad. Though I have to admit, I also like the acoustic version better.
I love it
No.
It is musically uninteresting to me. Same with their previous stuff: Thought Contagion, Psycho, Dead Inside, The Handler (not a terrible song). I don't dislike the song because of the "vibe" of the song, it just sounds lazy.
