I moved to Norman Road in St. Leonnrds-on-Sea twenty-three years ago when nobody wanted to live there and back then I had to go into Hastings to get a cup of coffee, there were no cafes in SLOS. Now there are dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants all within two hundred meters of my house and Norman Road is one of the best know streets in town with half a dozen art galleries, some antique shops etc. and four restaurant/cafe/.bars,. Never regreted moving here.
I remember my Mum lived there in the mid 90’s, and I remember it being a bit run down, with no decent bars or cafes. I’ve not been there for about 20 years, it looks amazing now.

Thank you! It's so cool there, it literally is like another remix of Bighton only with a lot more regency architecture in it. There are so many tiny little shops some of which sell locally made perfume, etc

I love this! Used to go a lot when I was younger. Friends had a hotel in Warrior Square called Hampden House Hotel. I remember seeing the Guiness Clock which was on the prom, and seeing the Hovercraft. Thanks for some lovely memories.
that lower promenade has shelters with seats that work as excellent sun traps - especially in October! (used to hang out there with a few like minded folk back in the end of the 90's)... it is another place that I plan a return to with a fat wallet...
Lived in St Margarets Terrace in the mid 80’s before moving away!

This town looks like it has quite a population but I never heard of it before today. Looks like some expensive housing. The beach looks pleasant but I think Doc Martin's town is a little more my style.
This town used to be the place for very rich people in Victorian Times when spending holidays by the sea was beginning to be the trend. Now the town have almost joined Hastings because it grew so much over the last 100 years. To the point that you could park in Hastings and walk there. Its would probably take 15-20 minutes or so. What is the Doc Martin's town?

Hi, there is no soundtrack that's called picnic: I use music from UA-cam Audio library
The title track is called "anywhere you go"
would be great without music but with the natural sounds of the area
That’s a different approach to what I normally do but I will be using the natural sounds of the places more in my next videos
