using egen , i wanted to generate new variable calculating geometric mean of three variables. what will be commang for that
Could someone help , what code should I use to make my age variable that contains ages from 0-11 into groups of categories? I want the first age group be from 0-2 , the second 3-5 the third 6-8 and the forth 9-11

I can't use function egen. The show error: "unknown egen"
