For me as a kid or teen one of the worst feelings was to get yelled at or punished by my parents and not understand why I am also autistic so it happened more often And the worst was no matter how many times I asked they just wouldn't explain so for me they were just getting mad over nothing. It felt so helpless, I can't defend myself if I don't know what I want to fight against. And they also wouldn't listen to me. When I was asking my mom why we do all these tests and go to psychologists when it doesn't change anything for me, she said it's so she could learn how to deal with me. But when I tried to explain to her where my behaviour comes from and why I just can't change it she kept saying she doesn't understand, and wouldn't listen to me "I don't understand and I don't have to understand" were her words. Kind of hypocritical but I already learned a long time before how much of a one she is.
I'm so sorry this happened to you... Me and my 3 older siblings have autism aswell.. I'm thankful my mom is patient with us.. (My 'father' can go to (|-|€//) I wish you luck and I hope you life turns around to something amazing!
