Ian uses drop d tuning to achieve that effect of rhythm and lead. The intro of river below and this suffering showcase the style of Ian's left hand barre chord muting. And nobody is hired in the studio when second rhythm tracks are needed...it's all Ian and the gang
@hakozone i've played live before, sometimes you just mess up and have to make it up. if that was the case then that was a great recovery. and alot of the time, live, bands just change up the lyrics for the hell of it.
