I'm an Israeli Jew, and I'm sending love to all my Christians friends 🙏
I’m an Israeli Jew, originally from Western Europe. I had to leave because of daily threats of violence by Muslims. Rarely have I had a positive interaction with a Muslim, even though it has happened. The majority of Christians however have always been supportive.
As Christians and Jews we take our morality from the same source: the Bible. Our differences shouldn’t be exploited by cynical people to divide us. Good to see that these folks won’t stand for it.
We see through it and they won’t win at dividing us. Catholics love our Jewish brothers and sisters and will always stand with you against evil and atrocities against Jews and Israel.

As a Jew I have never heard Christ is King as an anti-Semitic remark. This is a dumb culture war idea. 100% it’s the left that has said this antisemitism not the center or right. Just don’t play into their hands.

I'm a relatively observant Jew. I say this genuinely, I love my Christian brothers and sisters. I know we have theological differences, but that should not be a point of division between us. I know you come from a good place in your belief; I respect you point of view, and I do not seek to change it. I wish that us Jews and Christians can only strengthen our friendship going forward, especially during this turbulent and Messianic time. Wishing you only the best. Thank you for your support, we really need it.

Thank you Megyn. I am so uncomfortable with this and when reading the comments on Tucker, Carlson, Candace Owens, Jimmy Dore and many others, I am creeped out by the amount of Jewish hatred they are bringing out.

I am a committed Christian who believes in the deity and dominion of Christ. It is my observation though that those most loudly proclaiming the kingship of Christ are usually more concerned about their own dominance. Christ came to serve but many of his followers prefer to rule and prefer to use Him rather than serve him.

He wasn't even rejected by most Jews of the time; most Jews at the time Jesus walked the Earth had never heard of him. We tend to forget that back then, we had no internet, and we didn't really know what was happening outside of a few miles from our homes.
Even today, someone could be in the next city to me claiming whatever they want to claim and I would have no idea. Most Jews have never even heard of Jesus beyond that is who the Christians worship.

As a Christian I support the Jews and Israel. Jesus was born a Jew, should Christianity be hijacked by selfish individuals identifying as Christian, condemning Jews and Israel. Christ taught love, tolerance, peace and Gods law. If a person pronounces Christ is King out of celebration is one thing. However a so called Christian using those words to belittle, harass or disrespectfully attack Jews is no Christian at all.

Jesus was born a Judahite - not a Jew. Herod was an Edomite - not a Judahite. The Pharisees that put Jesus to death were Edomites. Jesus was not killed by "his own people." He was killed by Edomite Jews.

Well said! Anyone can claim they are a Christian but a true Christian has great love and respect for the Jewish people and the one and only Jewish State. As you said those saying Antsemitc things are Not true Christians. This has also been brought up causing problems among this situation. There is a concerning growing movement. From America first, not wanting to be in every countries business as the world police so quick to enter endless wars, while still standing with our allies, especially Israel. To those who are JUST America, and would forsake our Allie and Friend, Israel. Trump (whether you like him or not) who is America First, has been the only President I can recall that has been very supportive of Israel. The Abraham Accords, to being the only President to keep the promise of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s Capital, putting policies in place that had Iran bankrupt, defunding UNRWA, and so on. America First at least under Trump is the balance between total Isolationists and Globalists. At least that's how it seemed to be. Israel stands on the frontline on the fight against terrorism. Unto itself, "Christ is King" is not an anti Semitic slur, it is a beautiful affirmation of a Christian's belief in their Savior. Jews have no issue with this statement, however, when this statement is spoken AT a Jewish person, it is an attempt at putting that Jewish person in their "place". Why is "Christ is King" suddenly being used as a punctuation mark in conversation regarding the Jewish people when they are experiencing the worst wave of anti Semitism since the Holocaust?

The same God doesn't mean the same values. Our views on sex for example tend to be different to my knowledge. A rabbi can sell sex toys with his daughter but a priest or pastor could never get away with that, and not lose their following and reputation. Nope. Christ was not Jewish. He was a Judahite - a true Israelite from the House of David. Jews were mere citizens of the Kingdom of Judeah, but they were Edomites - not Israelites. King Herod and the Pharisees who put Christ to death were Edomites. The people who call themselves Jews today are either Edomites or Khazarians. They have no claim to the name Israel. Candace turned "Christ is King" into a political statement when having a twitter disagreement with a Jew. James Lindsay made a great point of saying that "Christ is King" is being used the same as "Black Lives Matter". You can agree with the plain statement, but agreeing to the slogan means something completely different.

The issue isn't whether it's a slogan or a statement - the issue is whether it's relevant to the conversation, and it is. When American Jews insist that we give undying support of Israel, and that questioning it is tantamount to supporting enemies, we are in a moral dilemma and invoking the King of Peace is appropriate. Support of Israel has been invoked through a twisted reading of scripture. Supporting peace by invoking Christ is the correct read of scripture.

Hey man, I'm Jewish (and actually care about being Jewish, unlike many Jews apparently) - and I don't think this term by itself is bad at all! Go off on how Christ is King, my dude.
My only problem with that is when it's used as a phrase IN RESPONSE to someone as a way to say "Oh yeah? Well fuck you" to some Jews which is what I have been seeing online ever since the Ben vs Candace divide.

Arguing that there is no distinction between civilians and combatants in Gaza, deliberately killing aid workers, obstructing aid from coming in as Israeli settlers have done, not to mention the overuse of labeling any criticism of Israel as antisemitism, nor the sheer unbelievability that the most militarized border in the world and the most powerful intelligence agency in the region (Mossad) was overwhelmed by a handful of Hamas fighters with hang gliders and work permits has turned a lot of us against Israel.

The Jewish people are God's chosen by covenant. Why is it that no one is mentioning the many times in scripture that God declares that he will bless those who bless the Jew and curse those who curse them? Genesis 12:3 and many more verses say it. Megan, it is one of those things that we don't have to guess about. God tells us plainly.

I can understand isolationism.. I would argue against it to some extent (it is in any superpower's interest to exert influence, establish alliances, arbitrate between allies, etc.), but I can understand it. Tucker has my sympathy and understanding to the extent that he expresses a general isolationist argument, invoking things we should always remember: Above all, the price the American people pay! And that the US has to focus no less on its own borders, infrastructures, etc. Clearly!
What is bizarre is when he crosses over into an unfair attack on Jews (esp. Ben Shapiro) and Israel and tries to rally people with some kind of tribal allegiance with Gaza against Israel?? What is that?

The problem is Christians who have always stood behind the Jewish people are realizing how the Jews, especially the orthodox or ultra orthodox feel about gentiles and Christians. Most of them believe they are above us and in their eyes and God’s we are not equals. We should continue to pray that they will come to know that CHRIST IS KING.
When people say, “Christ is King” to elevate themselves and belittle another person or group they ought to be aware that they are breaking the commandment which says we should not use the name of God in vain, or in other words, don’t use God’s name for your own purposes. Additionally, when you read the book of Isaiah, God repeatedly declares His love and loyalty to the Jewish people despite their rebellion and rejection of His Son. He will come back for them and they will see Him as He is. Because God stands by His promises to the Jews I think we Christians ought to stand by them too. For we wouldn’t have our own religion if they had not led the way first. Don’t leave them in the dark now.
Jesus is a Muslim and didn't claim divinity. Gospel of John chapter 5 verse 30 I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the One who sent me. When did Jesus call for Christianity?
God said in the Qur'an, His Surah3:45. [And mention] when the angels said, "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]. 46. He will speak to the people in the cradle and in maturity and will be of the righteous."

Later on in John 14:8-Jesus makes explicit claims to His divinity: ”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?“”Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.“

Clearly, Jesus claims to be God here. But to understand this you must acknowledge the theology of the Trinity: The Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit. Three separate beings who work in harmony as one. So for Jesus to say that he is here doing his father’s will is not him denying his divinity but further educating us on the Godhead and the way it works. I pray that Jesus reveals himself to you and you will see him as your Divine Savior very soon.

Sorry, but Father Calvin Robinson is wrong. Chrisitan have always felt superior over Jews. I am tired as an American-Jewish woman receiving comments from Christians that I am wrong. Did they think they may be wrong? Christians should respect Jews, especially since Jesus was a religious Jew.

I will give you an answer a small microcosm. For years in my village a small Creche was displayed in December at the center of town. 1 Jew complained and the Village was forced to remove it. This is what I mean.
@@sergesavard636 That's not a fair comparison, given Jesus was a Prophet of Allah according to the word of Mohammed, Peace Be Upon Him, who delivered an incomplete version of Islam, but figures neither in the Jewish religion, nor can accurately be said ever to have been an adherent of it, given Judaism only really emerged by around a century and three quarters after His Resurrection, with the completion of the set of justifications of the first five books of The Bible explaining how the Jewish god could have allowed his Temple to be destroyed a second time AKA the Mishnah. So of course the Jews are much less sympathetic to Christmas than their fellow Middle Easterners are, as it marks the Sacred Incarnation of a figure wholly unaffiliated with their religion.

Of course we love and pray for our Israeli friends but us Americans reallllllly need to start putting things into better perspective because it’s more crucial now than ever.

I never heard Laurence Fox, and I appreciate his sentiments. Many Christians do not realize that saying "Christ is King" in front of a Jew is a slanderous, Anti-Jewish comment because it negates the fact that the Jewish religion existed for 2,000 years before Christ. Also, the saying tries to erase that the Bible identifies the Jews as G-d's "Chosen People." It is disappointing that Tucker is now expressing his somewhat hidden feeling now to support isolationism, negative views about Israel. Candace Owns is obviously Anti-Jewish.

How about if a Christian says that Jesus Christ is the true Messiah? Must Christian's walk on eggs because you don't agree with that? The Bible, which Christians believe is the Word of God, speaks of Israel's _temporary_ rejection, but then it also says, that that time of rejection will end, and Israel will once again be received again of God into favor. And Christians believe that this will be a time of life from the dead (spiritually) for Israel, and they shall be saved by faith in Jesus as the Messiah. No true Christian can hate Jews or Israel. True Christians may disagree with and even grieve over, but _not hate_ Jewish people. Rather they desire that they will have redemption and forgiveness of sins by the Lamb of God who gave His life as spoken of in Isaiah chapter 53.
I think there is a time and place, for me as a believer in the Lord Jesus, to say in the right spirit to a Jewish person, that I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is King. But I strongly suspect that Candace Owens wrongly used the phrase as a weapon and in the wrong spirit, and that this is not only inappropriate, but also profane.
I support Israel with passion. That does not mean I agree with everything that goes on there, of course not, but I am unashamedly a 'Zionist'. I try to spread the truth about this current conflict and the prior conflicts that Israel has been in, and I detest the falsehoods being spread and propagated about the state of Israel, to try and demonize the Jewish people. It's a politeness thing, of course, doesn't do to bring up this sort of thing when it is not being discussed, but there is a good case to be made that Judaism did not come into existence for another century and three quarters after the Resurrection of Christ, that being around the time the set of explanations to accompany the first five books of The Bible were completed to justify how if god were all powerful and had not foresaken his people, he could have allowed his Temple to be destroyed, not once, but twice.

The founding fathers recognized that for salvation to mean anything it requires the freedom to choose. If eastern European colonists showed up at your front door step and took away your house killed some of your family and eliminated all your political rights and protection under a legal system they completely control and loosely enforce you might decide (like the CHRISTIAN, muslim, and JEWISH Palestinians did) that Caesar had overstepped in the determination of what is Caesar's. Isreal is not biblically "legitimate". Prophesied? yes... warned against? yes. But the best case scenario in the scripture is that its going to be the antichrist's stomping ground in which case you're pitching your weight behind the other side. Yes it is disturbing excpecially for us jews but I had read and studied verses in the torah over 30 years ago and they have been almost constantly on my mind since then that predicted our current circumstance so I was basically waiting and expecting it. I'm in the US and at 67 I can tell you when the first anti semitic attack hurled at me was. I was 10 years old my 1st year in a public school as I had gone to a private Jewish school before that. Long story short I was no longer allowed to come over to my new friends house any more because I was accused of killing Jesus by my friend. I asked who Jesus was? ( I had no idea and never heard the name before) He said he didn't know but his parents told him I killed him so I was no longer allowed at his house.This kind and many other types have been hurled my way ever since and you know what? Always Christians. I'm not sure if I ever met a Muslim so it wasn't them. The Muslims aren't getting a pass from me I see the news but it's always Christians and from what history tells me it's been that way for close to 2000 years. This idea that it's something new is funny to me. What it is, is that we live in a time where everyone seems uninhibited and feel free to say the quiet part out loud now.

I think one of the reasons why Israel faces criticism that Laurence mentioned is because they are held up as an example of western democracy in the middle east. So the standards expected from them is higher.

Christ’s salvation was for all peoples, not just the Gentiles. People seem to think Jews are still able to follow the Old Covenant, but that was fulfilled in Jesus’ death and resurrection. This, I think, is the disconnect that I don’t see a lot of people discussing (because it’s naturally uncomfortable).
We are still able to follow it. It's called freedom of religion. You can think something is necessary for my salvation all day long; however, I can openly disagree. If you throw your religion's slogans at me to discredit me whenever we disagree on anything or you constantly try to pressure me into changing my opinion when I've said leave me alone, that's religious harassment.
