Thanks, appreciated. You can see when I turn on the effect on the mixer. I had tempo detection set on that track and it’s that Tremolo effect cranked all the way up.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate the kind comment. And I am actually working on a full track from that scratch. Gonna write you a comment when/if I manage to complete it.
@@vvlvmusic oh man that would be dope. Let me know if you need for the mastering part. Would be glad to help out. I really love your songs and it would be Ann honour to work for you.
@@vvlvmusic I was thinking of pairing the ko2 with the op1 but I wasn’t sure if you suggest the tx6 for effects and drum machine effects or just getting the op1 to sample and use the ko2 for the effects
@@lupehn Hm, really depends on what you're going for. The TX-6 effects are nice but definitely not the reason to spend that kind of money. And I never had an OP-1 so I don't know what the workflow is like or how nice it is for sampling. The KOII can do a lot on its own, but you might look for some external effects.
@MyNameJeff.. there is only one main effect. There are other things per group like high and low pass, attack… a second fx would have been nice but I don’t think that takes away any of the fun you’ll have with it.

Is it possible to do something like this with the OP1? I really love this, how can I record a track and then play it back like this and play around with it? this is brilliant,
Thanks for the comment and for listening! I never had a OP-1 but I do think that cjopping up a sample is definitely something it can do. Maybe look for a sample chopping or beat chopping tutorial? 🤞🏻
@@vvlvmusicI just open mine last week after letting it sit in the Ali plastic for a bit. I love it. I still need to master some of the techniques you used. But I’m really surprised at what you can get out of a small piece of equipment. I wish it was all in one though, like I wish you could record vocals and all to it and do a mix down lol….and an SD slot
This thing packs a punch for sure. Of course more would always be nice but you can do some elaborate stuff with it. I need to sinkt a bit more time into it.
The “best” for sampling is hard to say, honestly. You can’t go wrong with a solid Technics deck for example. I also have a record player from the late 70s that is technically superior to the one I use here. But this one is portable and has a relatively nice cartridge for the price point. (Audio-Technica needle, like Soundburger). For me this one is more comfortable to use so I’d recommend it over the SB :)
@@vvlvmusic it's not the greatest deal in terms of capabilities for price, but i love it way more than any other sampler on the market. it's just fun and fairly immediate, while a lot of the competition is so technical and feature packed that the workflow is based around menu diving and troubleshooting
@@skunkman777 I also feel it just makes you want to jam with it and being very straight forward without menu diving makes for something that is actually fun to use. Could use a few updates to further improve but to me it's already a keeper.
@@vvlvmusic definitely wouldn't be opposed to some updates, hopefully ones that include more master effects. very curious about this "series" overall. hoping they expand on the PO-Speak and Tonic next, since those two little guys together are my favorite little setup
@@vvlvmusic Hope you make some more with the KO II, I picked one up as it seemed a bargain for a bit of TE gear and I'm loving it so far. For sampling or using the KO you don’t need the TX-6. I just like to use it to record my session and sometimes use its effects.

So I saw that you used reverb for the vocals - can you use reverb for just that pad or group, or does that reverb effect every single sound?
The effect is universal but you set its amount per group. So it’s possible to have just one sound getting reverb, for example.
