I'd have to say Ozymandias from The Watchmen. Disguised as a hero, he played the part of a villain and killed millions of people in order to save the world from nuclear annihilation.
wrong. An anti-villain has the motives of a hero, but the methods they choose is of villains making them questionable in the end. They are more prone to be redempted and fight alongside with Heroes than the anti-heroes. Thanos was the most brilliant depiction of what anti-villain is. Before he weighted more on the villain part in the 3rd movie. What you are talking about however is a villain who obtains power via wealth and words rather than determination and raw power. Ie Lex Luthor.
@@MojiMikato Sometimes yes, however not always, an anti-villain can also be someone who uses the concepts of good for its own benefits, your definition is not wrong, but mine ain't either

If your idea of “the perfect anti-villain” is somehow Thanos and *NOT* either The Count of Monte Cristo or Inspector Javert, I IMMEDIATELY do not trust you or your judgment. I said what I said 🤷☕️🔥
People out there literally looking at Hitler expys (like Thanos or any of the AoT cast members let’s be honest) who create (or are part of) totalitarian regimes and commit genocide and/or child murders and going “oh but he’s NoT a BaD GuY, he’s doing this for EcOnOmY, oh he’s JuSt CoMpLeX” or whatever etc. As a person with an 8-yr creative writing degree working on a series anthology myself, I PROMISE YOU. No, that’s not an anti-villain: that is just a villain (tragic backstory or no), and sympathy for a Nazi by any other name is still being a Nazi sympathizer. Fantastic villain choice, *horrible* choice for directing ANY empathy/sympathy. Have a nice day ☕️🔥
This music is just what i needed. Thank you❤
Thanks for including me in this awesome mix :)
I've been listening to this mix for years when writing a story, it makes it easier for me to focus, relax, and immerse myself in my imagination.

Who's your favorite anti-villain? I'll start. Thanos. (Infinite War Thanos, anyway. End Game Thanos was kinda meh.)
Malekith, from warhammer lore ofc, not from marvel
Loki from Marvel too
Eren Jeager From Attack On Titan.

Wow
An anti-villain is defined as someone who uses culture, education and hipocrecy to obtain what he desires, normally of heinous nature.
