Cooking for her has been my secondary signature thing. Ironically enough, this worked like Ghostbusters even when I was in high school (and generally thoroughly rejected) just bringin' homemade muffins to school...drove the girls kinda bonkers. In my 20s and 30s, and in the dating world, cooking was still exponentially powerful, especially when making desserts. Now halfway through my 40s and married, it may seem a bit mundane on the surface since I do the majority of the cooking...but I know that my wife still appreciates that.
And speaking of CHOCOLATE...ohhh, I got two words for ya...: DARK. CHOCOLATE!! Start'em out lightweight, Hershey's Special Dark is in the range of 35-50% cacao. Or you can go a bit lighter weight with cake; but even that can lay some heavy beatdown on taste buds & senses. Eventually, you can work'em up to the range of bittersweet (70-90%)...or even take on the challenge of pure baking chocolate (100%), if you're brave enough. Just know that the higher up the Powaa...of the Dark Siiide you go...the further away from the wimpy sugary milky taste you know of, you go. It is...a decisively powerful ally. Or weapon...you decide that part. 😏 Even now, my wife immediately gravitates toward the wimpy sugary milky crap whenever possible, only daring to go dark at that time of the month. (Are you familiar with the variety of recipes that are called "Knock You Naked" whatever whatever? Dark chocolate probably did it long before such recipes ever existed...)
