I know this is a different thing but I am surprised you didn't talk about how you can tech-check someone who js recovering low by doing an up B towards the stage. Even if they do tech you can often repeat it over and over. I've seen this done in a couple of sets of top players, mainly Protobanham (who doesn't play much anymore 😢).
We don’t have the air accel or the same frame data on our Up B for us to be able to do this viably. Also don’t forget it sends upward so doing that is kinda pointless. Stick to doing this with Marth
@@CipherKnightoi meant that i'd keep it in mind as something to look out for so i can stop it happening to me. i know it wouldnt work as roy. i probably shouldve worded it a little better
@@lucash2245 yeah I put that together after I typed that but I was a bit late. Me being a Roy main too, I think the best thing for us to do is side B stall against it and try to mix up when and where we double jump/up B
Im cooked… but I’ll check it out with my Marth, seems like a cool technique, I do it as Mii Swordfighter with Link’s Up B so I’m kinda familiar with the basics and how it’s used & done
i have a whole video on it, basically you have the chance to break a shield if you feel like ur opponent is shielding a little too much and also an uncharged shield breaker breaks any shield as long as a little damage has been done to it
Alright. Now I'm waiting for season 4.
season 4 gonna be fire B) glad you wanna stick around
I've been getting into Marth a little bit. Great timing, love the music choices too.
As a Roy main good thing we have some mixups offstage that might save our lives against this
I gotta rethink my definition of tech
Finally a lucina channel. Good content man
it depends on the character but sometimes it's better than ledge drop counter.
Destroyed a KDD and a Joker using this Edgeguard earlier tonight so this video's timing is pretty apt.

There's also the thing where you dolphin slash towards the stage, and it combos into bair, I was expecting something like that.
you are such a cool content creator
hey thanks so much 😃 glad you like my stuff
guess i'll have to keep this in mind for my roy.. will def try to learn for my marth though

Am I just not holding neutral b enough?? Because I rarely get shield breaks with it.

like you can literally jab 1 to uncharged shieldbreaker and it will break
