He’s in danger of becoming embarrassing just like B.B.King did with the amount of mistakes in his playing. Let’s hope things can improve.
ECCollectables - I hear ya. Take a look at all the videos from the shows on 13th and 20th from user Showkai (search 'Showkai Eric Clapton' and you'll find them. Well-shot videos). I was really taken aback by the amount of errors. Bum notes, wrong frets, wrong chords, on relatively easy solos etc..etc in almost every song. This is not just his tinnitus. I'm at a loss to explain it, as he was okay on all the 2018 shows I've seen. It's like he has some sort of major problem during these Japan shows and is trying to battle through. I hope things improve when he plays in London next week (May). Maybe I'm wrong.. we'll see. I hope things get better as, like I say, he was okay during '18 and I can't see he's naturally deteriorated that much since then :(

The guy's getting old, we're lucky he's actually still alive and performing. What would you expect at 73 with all those health issues?

Yes it has a few mistakes but the great playing & excellent vocals provide an a good performance. Take it easy on him
he's confirmed his issues, he is suffering from tinnitus so i think he can't play with his best. Any way you are too lucky.
