Thanks for the info, any idea why my caliper won't snug back up? have just a little play. I have checked the torque (screwed back approp.) Everything that I am told, I have check, but can't seem to get it back 100%, other tire did just fine. Thanks for your time!
Im about to change Brakes, brake lines, calipers and rotors for front and back. Thanks for the video but i was hoping youd mention how to flush the brakes.
If you are looking how to flush the brakes.. I would open all the brake bleeders and let them drain out with pans under them...brake fluid is nasty on painted garage floors etc.. then tighten, refill master cylinder and start bleeding the brakes furthest from master cylinder to closest....
How did you get the brake line so that after you tightened it, it wasnt all twisted up when u put the caliper back in position?
Hi me again ;) question u need torque the caliper screw ?thanks
On the front it's 155 ft lbs. on the 2 bolts that hold the torque member to the spindle. 32 ft lbs. on the 2 bolts that hold the caliper to the torque member. On the rear it's 24 ft lbs on the 2 bolts that hold the caliper to the rear corner module.
I know 155 ft lbs sounds like a lot....but that is what Nissan calls for. Did I tighten mine that much..... probably not
Hey RHR, where did you get that front bumper?
That is a N-Fab bumper...I have more videos of the install etc with it. Just look for the Nissan Titan in my playlists... loved the look!
Thanks for the video I have a question if you have to change both rear calipers do you bleed both or just one
Both, make sure to bleed the one furthest away from the master cylinder first so rear right, rear left
