It intrigues me that this story was based on the fact that when the Talyllyn Railway was preserved in 1951, Dolgoch was the only engine in operation; and with the preservationists' spirits, was kept running until Edward Thomas and Sir Haydn arrived. Long live railway preservation!
I think it would have been better if in the beginning, the camera closed in on Skarloey's face by a foot when he starts with the whole "passengers are our coal and water" to punctuate his point.
