Yea She does have a great Voice (guildhall school of music) someone needs to write her a Hit song!, this process would be good for coming in at different times of the song, excellent thinking again!.
Noice! , I think You yu-yu-yu yoooooo yuyuyuyuyuyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu might be onto something. brrrrrt fnerr. I remember , back in the day, creating something similar using a laser disc and modem combo. Full disclaimer - no, no I did not :) Another fun creative video Jono. Cheers
😎 Very cool short piece of music, really love it, that hollow sounding pad sound and the chord progression, the percussive elements, the voice, so cool! Thank you for this tutorial, never used this new Logic feature so far! 😎
This is slowly becoming my favorite music production UA-cam channel! Sorry, Andrew Huang - if you’d just become a Logic user 😂 Jokes aside, Jono is definitely the clearest communicator in the field. Thank you for all the knowledge!
@@jonobuchananmusic I don’t think any time is ever simple. Nor do I think we can meaningfully comprehend any “time”. Maybe the apparent complexity of any given time is just the ratio of comprehensible things to baffling things we currently hold in our mind of that time. I do think the more fleeting our attention is, the more complex things will seem. Understanding, which negates apparent complexity, takes time and effort. And can’t spend time and effort on everything. I also think there’s an easy analogy to make, as one renders complexity understandable, namely that anything else one doesn’t understand is equally arduous to make simple for oneself. *dial-up noises*
Thanks so much for your enquiry and patience. The first course is getting towards the end of its edit, so should be ready pretty soon. More details to come shortly.
I have been looking for just this native effect to simulate broken radio communication. To date I've been using the free Audio Damage plugin (excellent by the way) with the Spectral Gate.
Not so much modems but cellphones in the early 90s, when you had the good excuse to say "I don't hear you, sir/honey/whoever, I'm passing a tunnel!" #TheEarlyNokiaPlugin.
After beating my head against the wall trying to find this plugin, I found that not only did I need to update Logic, but I needed to update my Mac OS also. See you in a few hours!

She sure does. And she's writing those herself! Glad the video was useful. Thanks as always.

That's high praise indeed - many thanks!
Just what I was looking for, kinda reaching the end of my experimenting with vocals in Step FX, onto the new frontier!
Great, welcome to the next audio playground, Sean.
The modem reference 😂👌 really cool techniques, thank you!!
Thanks Franke! You're most welcome.
Hmm.. that gives me an idea… Nice one, Jono! Thank you 👍
Great! Go and have fun. Thanks Peter.
Really enjoyed the video. Fine humor regarding canaries and modems. Yes, I do remember my modem setup, with my Quadra 650 Apple. Old guy alert.
We're not old! We're just... experienced?! ; )

Very cool video and plugin! Love it!
Great, thank you!
Hi Jono. When are you going to be offering courses and workshops? Thanks for all you do.
Thanks so much for your enquiry and patience. The first course is getting towards the end of its edit, so should be ready pretty soon. More details to come shortly.
I thought Jack Douglas from the Carry On films was on vocals for a moment…”Phwaaay”
Beat Breaker throws up some classic characters!

Great, so glad to hear it was helpful.

The Norwich City of Logic Plugins :) @ 8.50
Quite right, John. I'm pretty sure Delia would approve of that description too.

Ah yes, I'm afraid so. But the Logic update is definitely worth it.
@@jonobuchananmusic can confirm! I had a blast making a baseline for my latest project this morning. Thank you for all your inspiration and know how
More please 😊.
Don't worry, there'll always be more!

Unfortunately poor old me cannot update to these new fancy tous you are using 😭
Sorry to hear that Donnie. Think of the headstart you'll have when the right time comes, though.
