Hi Emily, maltese dogs are small and don’t need as much exercise as larger breeds, regular walks are still important for their health and mental stimulation. I normally only walk my dog once in a day, but if it’s rainy day I will skip it. Playtime indoors or in a yard can be enough as well 🥰 Hope this helps to explain everything!
