Thoroughly enjoyed your video and made me smile when you mentioned the lack of older women on tapes, stickers etc - it is my pet peeve and something i routinely grumble about, however the lack of men I hadn't computed until you mentioned it but agree entirely.
I’m glad it’s not just me. I collect tarot cards as I love all the beautiful artwork…I don’t use them for divination lol. There’s been a big improvement in recent years in terms of tarot artists being more inclusive in a variety of ways, including depicting older women. But I haven’t seen this much yet in terms of journaling supplies. I think it would be lovely if the creators of stickers and PET tapes created more inclusive images. But I’m guessing it will depend on whether there is a supply demand for them. I’d buy them lol 🤣 sending you my best wishes, Ali x

Lovely to see another video from you, Ali! And it was a pleasure to see your insert covers. The doodles on that cover are amazing illustrations 😍 so cute! I generally tend to do a mixed collage on my insert covers but haven’t ventured to use alternative materials. Will be on my inspiration list to try out.

Wonderful ideas on different cover personalisations! 😃 I like to decorate mine too, and another easy one is to use a paper serviette or napkin, peeled down to one layer and glue it all over. Stamperia do rice paper too I think which would give a similar effect. Looking forward to trolley time! I got a faux raskog from Kmart here in Australia and it’s super handy! Can’t wait to see how you organise yours…I rejig mine about once a year 🤭 Big hugs! 💕Louise
Oooh, darn it, I completely forgot about your napkin/rice paper insert decorations. I did decorate some of my inserts that way. I think after watching videos from you. Although even if I’d included a 4th way to decorate inserts I’d have lost the footage given my battery died. My trolley is a faux raskog too lol. They were less than half the price in our local Hobbycraft store! Now I’m suddenly worrying that it might be bad to see an item that looks super useful but then buy a dupe 😬😬😬😬. But Ikea is a huge corporation, not a small business, so I’m hoping it’s just healthy competition that improves the value of money for the consumer 😬 . Oh Louise I love how chatting to you, and watching your videos, always makes me think….i so love to engross myself in thinking! You are always so smart and insightful!
