My coffee alternative is chicory root- its a powder and I just prepare it like I would an instant coffee and then add some cream, its delicious. I prefer it more than coffee and if you have a milk frother then it's even better! Like latte vibes. 💕 Wishing you well!
I’ve not been feeling myself for the past 4 months and I honestly fell into a bit of a depression. I couldn’t really keep up with anything anymore, including UA-cam. It’s really funny how we go through similar phases because of the weather, the time of the year etc… , October has been a VERY difficult month I was taking my mid term exams, submitting assignments, going through the fall phase as well and now I’m really ready to “get my spark back” as you said and focusing on my sleep, journaling again and going back to exercising, hanging out with friends as well. They give me life and I can relate as a lady around your age living in NYC.♥♥♥ And, by the way, you can totally have a matcha latte on an empty stomach / first thing in the morning and it shouldn't cause problems - green tea causes me nausea on an empty stomach too, but never matcha lattes as long as they're made with a fairly thick milk such as oat milk. I make my own every morning with 1 cup oat milk and 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder, and never have any issue! Gives a nice subtle burst of energy but not the jitters of coffee. Might work for you!♥
boil 200g of peeled and thinly cut organic ginger it becomes super strong sip it regularly and add water every time it’s anti-inflammatory and works great
I've tried AIP diet recently due to inflammation in my body. Organic cacao was my substitute for coffee, smells like chocolate but has a bitter taste and I drink black coffee without sugar/milk so I really enjoyed it. Now I am back to decaf and I feel better!

I completely gave up on coffee by replacing it with the cacao in the mornings. 🎉🎉🎉 You may try it. I used to drink up to 3 cups of coffee daily. And now I’m free from this addiction.
Hello beautiful Karen, a good substitute for coffee is Dany Blend. It is so natural to be exhausted when the time changes 😅vitamin D is a great immune system booster. It’s is great to take it with your vitamin C. It’s so wonderful to do sauna specially on those cold days 🧖🏻♀️ 🙌🏼
Hey Karen 🤗 i had a similar pain in the neck and it affected one side, for two to three times for the past couple years. I realised what causes it for me: when I turn my head too much to look to the left or right, and within an hour start doing pushups. For the first few pushups it would be no problem, but then i start feeling uncomfortable (not pain) in my lower neck and I stop doing pushups so I would not aggravate it. But then it would be more painful the next day and last for days and I just do not exercise and the pain subsides. I stopped over turning my head too much to face the left or right, and I do dozens of pushups multiple times a week and its been no problem for about half a year. I noticed that pilates or yoga movements have these neck movements similar to me turning my head too much to face the left or right. Maybe try not to do this action when you exercise? And i noticed that you take the time to read many many comments, I hope you have gotten much better by the time you read this 💫💛

If you're looking to switch up from coffee, matcha is a game-changer for energy. Coffee gives you that quick spike, but it often comes with jitters and a crash. Matcha, though, has a much gentler lift. Definitely worth a try if you want a steady pick-me-up!
It's great that you're suggesting Karen an alternative however Matcha is straight up green tea leaves. A very concentrated form of green tea. So that would not be good for her. I'm allergic to green tea so it was actually really good that I found that out when drinking green tea and NOT with Matcha the first go around or I would've needed an Epipen. 😱 And, of course because I didn't know I was allergic to anything I wasn't carrying an Epipen. Things would not have gone well. 😂I just thank God I found out with green tea instead. Lol! Others here mentioned Chicory Root with frothed oat milk or Dandy Blend. 😊

If you want a great replacement for coffee that will wake you right up immediately I would recommend apple cider vinegar with lemon juice and even ginger juice if you’d like. The lemon juice helps with the taste of the vinegar a bit, but make sure you drink it with a straw. I dilute 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar and 2 tbs of lemon juice in 16oz of water. I strongly recommend that you add ice as well, it makes it smoother and less harsh.

Great coffee alternative would be matcha, the most fresh and the best quality matcha can be found from Matcha Botanicals. For herniated disc I can recommend Curcumaxx in liquid form (can be found in any organic food shop), also Omega 3 in high doses (one very good is from Norsan). Also I would add acupuncture. These are some things that have helped me with lower back pain.

I think you should not worry about coffee as much as other things that cause inflammation. Actually coffee does have some Anti-inflammatory properties because it has bioactive compounds and polyphenols . It can cause inflammation in “some” people if you happen to be very sensitive to caffeine and depends on age and genetics. But I believe since it has a lot of good properties that are anti-inflammatory I really don’t think you need to really stress on coffee. Green tea also has a lot of polyphenols so also good for inflammation but again it also has caffeine so would be the same as coffee if you happen to be sensitive to caffeine. Or just drink decaf coffee if your concerned your sensitive to caffeine. I’ve seen other people suggesting chai and other cocoa drinks but again those are basically the same because they have caffeine. The other properties in coffee is actually good for you. Maybe focus on taking natural things that help reduce inflammation like omega’s, fish, turmeric etc. Also focusing on your gut health really helps with body inflammation. So eating probiotics/fermented foods. Also in English we call those eggs either “soft-boiled” eggs or “dippy eggs”.
I was coming on to say the same thing coffee contains antioxidants and other active substances the can reduce internal inflation this study was done by nutrition experts from Johns Hopkins University of Medicine

I'm on an anti-inflammatory diet since... 2022 (helped me a lot!) I'm not a professional, but what I was advised relating to coffee is not necessarily to cut it, but cut sugary drinks (any sugary treat that is not high in fiber, actually) you might ask them if they assumed that's the case 🙈 if not... maybe gradually reducing it? but unfortunately as a coffee lover, thaaaat's sooo hard 🙃

I have tried many masks but spot treatment gel/crm of salicylic or benzoyl has helped the most.
I'm on an anti-inflammatory diet since... 2022 (helped me a lot!) I'm not a professional, but what I was advised relating to coffee is not necessarily to cut it, but cut sugary drinks (any sugary treat that is not high in fiber, actually) you might ask them if they assumed that's the case 🙈 if not... maybe gradually reducing it? but unfortunately as a coffee lover, thaaaat's sooo hard 🙃
