Its crazy how most if the things you touched on are issues i face in my school, cause tell me why my parents paid 300k for a room with Ac but the Ac isn't working, and there are six people in the room, on top of that there is no water. Private uni's in Nigeria need to do better, the country is hard as it is

The reminds me of the private hostel I lived in when I attended Unical. Constantly increasing the rent while the services were wack. At some point, it became normal to not have water in the bathrooms. It was so bad.

2 months later>> my school is also a private uni
Today, I was just walking on the road with tears rolling down my cheeks because I had just trekked to the hostel to settle a case that would turn out to be unsuccessful.
They listed my name as a defaulter, that I'll pay a sum #40,000 in this economy because I missed Saturday clean-up.
Saturday clean-up is where you pick two nylons of biscuit and maybe one sachet of pure water, that's why I'll pay #40,000.
Mind you this is literally a private university where we pay more than half a million each session.

I think the changes been made is particular to every tertiary institution according to the instability of the country's economy as in my federal uni as a final year student, we're paying higher fees than we ever did in 100lvl.
