- This is just a simple pit walk so you guys can see what is going on with Drift Week 6 as we just get started! Nothing more than just hanging out and walking around and seeing who showed up!

fyi for the 2017 mustang with the steering rack issues a solution might be to get a epas power steering controller which mmr sells for these cars which baisically acts as a seperate brain for the steering rack and lets you use the rack in swap cars and s550 mustangs with aftermarket ecus

You guys need a snap on scanner. They can do everything a dealership computer can. But first I’d probe the wiring and check all the wiring in the eps system. But since your regular scan tool can’t get into eps and communicate and be able to do test procedure you’ll need to take it to a dealer or get the snap on scanner. You’ll be able to go in and test each unit and re communicate each module. I work at Honda so it’s relatively the same with all new cars and the factory scan tools. Snap on is the only aftermarket tool that actually works for all makes and modes. It’s like $5 grand tho. Only down fall.

That mustang just needs the pscm reset. It’s not a gremlin. My car does it all the time it’s pretty simple once you have the forscan software. I have to do it about every 20 starts.

@@Mr_jz_12 only the weak or broke swap. 7M is a v capable motor. Checkout gasketfuka or 7mpoopra. There’s several 1K hp 7m that have been running strong for years. Not arguing, I completely agree most swap, but it’s not necessary if built properly.
