Running down to nowhere when basically he can just kick to Gnar and get hit 1 or 2, stun for a few second(that can't be avoid anyway) then kick right back to the Minion on top, run back to the tower safe and sound. Akali basic combo to run. As far as i now, he still had his uti, so that just ridiculous.
Multiple reasons, what happens if your team happens to pick up first blood in one of those skirmishes? I think above the buff control that is why it's done, it's an early test of mechanical skill and champ placement. Place yourself wrong, you feed first blood.
if you use nidalee pounce plus tri force, you will soon realize she is ppbly the fastest champ charging it. seriously faster than yasuo, and usually she can apply at least two charges before killing a champion. so that's 200 magic dmg, which compare to the active of blade of ruin king, this is just a free give.

let's also point out that the akali in this video is being piloted by Faker, his mechanics are unparalleled
she's only strong if she snowballs, if you keep her down she's not a problem whatsoever
