This was a tribute to Screaming Jay Hawkins whose picture was on the candle that she was holding at the beginning of the video. Angelina had just turned 9 when she produced (yes, this is her arrangement) this homage to the composer of this song, Screamin' Jay Hawkins (1956). Hence, the black and white production. Angelina will be a Superstar in the next 10 years, and I believe THE singer of her generation. Millions of people will discover this MASTERPIECE! (almost 8M views on YT now). One can argue, as you said, that this is the best thing she has ever done. But before making a statement like that, you would need to see the 130+ performances in her library of song, which I have. There are so many Fantastic performances by Angelina, that I think it's impossible to say which is best. I've tried to do that, and I now have it whittled down to about 25 performances. That's how consistently good she is. And the beauty of following her performances chronologically, is that you can literally see her growth as an artist. Angelina was certainly born with a gift, but so are a lot of others. The difference is that she took that gift from first discovering it, and has spent her life honing and developing it. From one perspective, you could say this is her destiny. She's 14 now, but has spent almost 90% of her life becoming the artist that you now see. I don't deny her "God given" talent. But it is her focus, determination, and dedication that sets her apart. And oh yeah, she also happens to be an incredibly decent human being: humble, kind, caring, generous, unassuming, and funny. The only thing I don't like about this reaction is that you took your headphones out and started talking before she was done singing, I know it was only the last 20 or so of seconds of the song, but still.

9 years old. This was her own arrangement. At the beginning of the video, she handed the band leader the changes that she made (she called them her wishes). This was a tribute to Screaming Jay Hawkins whose picture was on the candle that she was holding at the beginning of the video.
There are more than 225 published recording of this song by many artists and thousands of other unpublished performances. I listened to most of them if not all and yet to find a better version than Angelina’s.
With more than 130 songs that she has performed including few originals, she will wow and amaze you every time.

Angelina had just turned 9 when she produced (yes, this is her arrangement) this homage to the composer of this song, Screamin' Jay Hawkins (1956). Hence, the black and white production. Angelina will be a Superstar in the next 10 years, and I believe THE singer of her generation. Millions of people will discover this MASTERPIECE! (almost 8M views on YT now). One can argue, as you said, that this is the best thing she has ever done. But before making a statement like that, you would need to see the 130+ performances in her library of song, which I have. There are so many Fantastic performances by Angelina, that I think it's impossible to say which is best. I've tried to do that, and I now have it whittled down to about 25 performances. That's how consistently good she is. And the beauty of following her performances chronologically, is that you can literally see her growth as an artist. Angelina was certainly born with a gift, but so are a lot of others. The difference is that she took that gift from first discovering it, and has spent her life honing and developing it. From one perspective, you could say this is her destiny. She's 14 now, but has spent almost 90% of her life becoming the artist that you now see. I don't deny her "God given" talent. But it is her focus, determination, and dedication that sets her apart. And oh yeah, she also happens to be an incredibly decent human being: humble, kind, caring, generous, unassuming, and funny. Sadly, Angelina’s paternal grandfather died in March 2018 and her maternal grandfather died in November 2019. Angelina’s maternal grandmother Mery Zamani has had tremendous influence on Angelina and her career as she introduced Angelina to Jazz at early age. Mery is famous Iranian contemporary writer, poet and painter who was also child prodigy herself being on Radio Iran's Children program at age 4 and began writing poetry and painting by age of 9. Later Mery was trained in art at Tokyo Academy in Japan where she met her husband, who was Japanese, during her master degree's training in Japan. The only thing I don't like about this reaction is that you took your headphones out and started talking before she was done singing, I know it was only the last 20 or so of seconds of the song, but still.
