I’m so glad you did this. So many people have these products and are not people who buy everything that releases and just use what they have. So it’s good to see people using things they have. Yes I appreciate that some are probably expired, but many are not. Most are still fine to use for some time after the shelf life. Mainly powdered products but they are good to use for a long time after shelf time. If it smells funky, it’s not worth it, but if it smells ok still, it’s just fine haha.

My three favorite discontinued products are the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette, Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette and Urban Decay Naked Cyber Palette. I remember when Elf was at the mall and I remember spending $1.00 - $15.00. A lot of discontinued products are available at Marshall's. My favorite discontinued foundation and concealer was the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation and Concealer. I remembered using both of them and it never broke me out. That foundation and concealer gave me the most natural coverage ever and it really helped me to cover up my acne and oily skin. Covergirl shouldn't had discontinue this collection.

Becca was my favorite brand for face products. Not so much their foundations, but everything else was just so great for hydrating glowly skin. I think their brand would have done really well with today's makeup trends.

Powders don’t actually expire (unless they have spf you’re counting on). They can go bad, which is usually from them getting wet and not properly drying. If it’s growing something don’t use it 🙃

I love this! The only product that I had from this video was the Becca powder. I loved it! It’s still the only loose powder that I ever liked on my skin. I’m sad I missed out on the Tati pallet!
I still have a little bit of this powder and I am scared to use it up. It’s so lovely on my dry under eyes! I miss it. I still use the glowy primer they had too. I stocked up when they were going under.

It has something to do with her business partner. I can't remember what, but if you search for Tati Beauty drama here in YT you'll find a bunch of videos about it. 🩷
I'm no lawyer, but I'm going to guess she discontinued so she doesn't have to lose her future profits to pay for the lawsuit. I have a feeling Makeup Geek did the same, not to pay extra, on top of alimony to her ex. I think when there's a business, they can sue for all future profit from any existing business at the time of the lawsuit. The lawyers can only bleed you dry for so much. It's just speculation on my part. I do have regrets not buying Tati's palette. I hope Tati and MG will try to relaunch their brands in the future. Marlena mentioned she's launching 2 or 3 brands in the coming year, not sure if it's make-up related, she hasn't divulged details yet.
