@@TheKiltedHomesteader looks like “glass filled” Teflon as we call it in the oil biz. We use it for dynamic (moving), and static (stationary), seals alike. Teflon backup rings are far superior to neoprene.

Possible it is a O ring 3/16x2 5/8 according to pressure it must be 90 degr Shore not standard 70 Thanks for video
How did the o-ring and Teflon backer work out? Do you think the Teflon backer is the best solution?
