Had maxpeedingrods coilovers on my 2004 330ci convertible. The ones which were 24 way dampening adjustable. Cost just under £300 brand new. Steer clear. The worst coilovers you could buy. The pillowball front struts were just creaking all the time, no matter how much you grease them up. Even loosening or tightening the top mount bolt didn't help. On the rears, there would be constant coil slap on the rear springs and that was just with me in the car and no other weight in the car apart from the car itself. I can't believe I put up with them for over a year. Anyway that car is gone and now on my current e46 vert I have airlift air suspension. Brilliant. Can't fault it. So that's my experience with the maxpeedingrods. 👍🏽
I'll reserve full judgement as these were a used set but I really don't think they have been made to work well on the Z4 platform and I had an E46 with these on the front but not the rear ... maybe suggests a common problem. I wouldn't buy this type of thing personally I have to say.
THANKS YOU for Sharing This video
They've upgraded these coil overs with dampening adjustable dials at the top.
Max on my z4 with swift coils 6 months without greasing the pillow bearing no issues,I drift in it every weekend
I'm running BC on my own Z4 at the minute and they have been pretty decent for what I consider to be a mid market coilover.
how you set the rears, my bounce a lots even if I adjust it all the way hard

I'd feel safer cutting the springs
I'd feel safer having no springs haha

Max-peeding-rod. What on earth is a 'peeding'? Can one Std Peed if not in the mood to Max?
Haha yeah I've no idea actually but it is an amusing brand name I have to say lol
Sell me the hardtop 👀
Unfortunately long gone lol
Head turn
They are the worst coilovers you can buy
Alex has a different view on buying car parts to me that is for sure lol ... at £150 though I guess it was worth taking the risk for him!
