The galaxies are moving much slower than the speed of light. The light emitted from them say a billion years after what Webb has just shown, has gone past us approximately nine billion years ago.
My opinion is the faster stars form the more dark matter plays a key role in their formation. It could be that dark matterbecomes the glue that holds these fast forming new stars together !

That's what science is. Nothing thoroughly scrutinises and questions scientific discovery more than science does itself. Science isn't about proving things, rather than disproving faulty ,or misunderstood data. That's why it has massively increased our understanding and technological progress that influences every aspect of our lives.

No, we actually know an unbelievable amount of what's going on. This is called learning from new observational data. Otherwise we would still be making up wild and superstitious nonsense to explain how nature works, like some people still tend to do.

@@philipfontaine8964 There's evidence for it. The Cosmic Microwave Background radiation (or CMB for short). permeates everywhere we look, and is remarkably consistent in temperature. The Big Bang explains the CMB, while alternate explanations such as Hoyle's Steady-state hypothesis, cannot. So it's actually not "far-fetched" at all.

@ atom ant dates you 😃 I watched that long ago. However.., if everything started at a single point, the light we see started at the beginning and traveled out. The light was already here from the beginning
Time travel doesn't exist especially to the past. If you go by Earth's logic of light all these galaxies should be dead right? But they're not we can see them which means we should be wrong about how light travels.😂😂😂
I always look forward to advancements in astronomical education. So thank you very much!
I am absolutely fascinated by space and just how massive it really is. Never ceases to amaze me

Very interesting. Thanks so much. ❤❤❤
Very nice and informative
Fantastik news❤️ 👍👌👏👏👏
Thank you video brilliant compliment
Is it possible to predict which way the old galaxies are moving then move the telescope in that direction to see how it aged, grew, died etc?
The galaxies are moving much slower than the speed of light. The light emitted from them say a billion years after what Webb has just shown, has gone past us approximately nine billion years ago.
No its not. Light travels at a speed and what we see now happend billions of years ago so no we cant see how they Look right now.

Did Webb thought us that there wasn’t a big bang also?
No, it didn't "thought us" that.
No matter how much the JWST challenges what they know, nothing changes their beliefs.

Where did the big bang take place if you assert that it happened? If unknown, how can you assert that you are looking at the early universe?
Because the Universe expanded from the moment of the Big Bang, it literally happened everywhere. Every point in space was once at the center.
@ that’s pretty far fetched. A good attempt though 😄👍
@philipfontaine8964 Almost as far fetched as the idea of a God. I've always thought both theories were bunk.

Nonsense! No one has EVER seen a star or galaxy form send how they got there is dtill a mystery! It's fact being taught when it's only a theory!
