And later doesn't care what others think, being herself, and plans to thoroughly embrace being "free" and having confidence. So, ignoring the whole fact Frozen ever existed, whats the song about to you?
I would say it is a tale of somebody breaking free from somebody who forced them to hide emotions and finally experiencing freedom for the first time, realizing they no longer need anybody to make them happy or lord over them, they are finally free.
