South Korea is used to being under us protection and getting favorable trade deals from the US. They are a no risk country. When North Korea destroyed one of their ships and attacked some of their islands in the 2000s, the response was to do nothing. They certainly aren't going to stick their necks out for Europeans. Now if the US orders them to ship weapons they either have been given or have manufactured themselves, they'll be fine with doing that via third party, but they will not do anything directly themselves.
