✈ Avro Lancaster "Just Jane" & DH Mosquito Taxi Runs at East Kirkby!

- Hello and welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION!
Last weekend the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre had an event on which saw a total of 6 taxi runs, 3 of the DH Mosquito and 3 from their most prized possession NX611, the Avro Lancaster affectionately known as Just Jane. I've included 1 taxi run of each aircraft in this video as well as some photographs from the event at the end.
I have to say the team at East Kirkby have done some outstanding work on restoring NX611, she looks immaculate! Here's to seeing her back in the air and hopefully a formation flypast with PA474.

Dh mosquito is one of my favourite aircraft, so great to see one running, I hope I'll see one fly in the uk again.
Great video I have visited on several occasions and back in 2016 was lucky enough to have taken a taxi ride in just Jane, I stood behind the pilot 😀👍👏

Something I must do, my uncle Edwin was a Lanc flight engineer, didn't return June 1943.
