    I liked the shutdown using mixture. We were trained to make sure the magneto switch kills the sparks plugs before that though. The idea is to be able to turn the props during handling without the engine igniting.

    Great video. I normally start with flaps to reduce airspeed. Once I make a power reduction I do not increase it again, just reduce it in small increments. I don’t recall ever dumping the cabin pressure before landing on any pressurized plane I flew. Nice go-around. Always maintain at least Blue Line in the pattern. It was great seeing Montreal again. One question, did you follow an approach or landing checklist?
