Beginner & Senior Wall Pilates Workout // Core & Lower Body // Knee & Wrist Friendly!

- Thank you for joining me for this new wall pilates workout that is great for beginners and seniors. All exercises are performed on the mat and are knee and wrist friendly (no moves on our knees or wrists). We will really work into our core, thighs and glutes in this 30 minute workout!
You don't need a large wall space in this video. A door will be fine. For the exercises performed on our sides, you can do them away from the wall or up against a couch. You may need to get creative with your space so you can see your screen.

I'm so happy to have found you! I have fibromyalgia and sacroiliitis, and there are many UA-cam channels that show exercises, but none are as focused on beginners and senior. I have been wanting to give your wall pilates videos a go for a while, but my TV is not in a area where I can use a wall, but this morning I thought I'd give it a shot, only to get all the way through and find out I could see my screen in the reflection of the window. Another great video. I love how encouraging you are about range of motion and acceptance. I was always flexible and now I'm stiff in hips. I get panicky about it.. Thanks again for your gentle nature.
You are so welcome! Don't get panicky, just be gentle with those hips and try to stretch and strengthen them a little each day :)

Thank you for making this vlog for beginners/seniors. I am both lol and had both knees replaced two years ago. I am trying to get my flexibility back and I am hoping this will assist me. The thing I found the hardest is the last stretch with your feet against the wall. I have a hard time sitting straight up like that without back support. Can you suggest anything to help strengthen or improve that flexibility or should I just continue working on this stretch.
Great question Deborah! Continue with this stretch, but try two things: bend your knees a little to relieve some pressure and hopefully allow you to sit up straighter. Also, try elevating your bottom. Sit on a few pillows. Raising your hips should also allow you to extend your spine. Hope that helps!
I only wish I had a free wall, but I managed without one. This was a great workout for the core and glutes. I actually do the bridge with my grandson sitting on my stomach. Different workout for sure!😅

Excellent exercise! I was looking for an inverted leg position for a left leg pain I had for two weeks. I read that inverted position is good for circulation but I wasn’t sure how to do it. I read that 90 degrees angle is not good but it didn’t understand why. Anyway, I did your routine and I was able to manage it near my bed frame. Do you know how long is good to invert the legs daily for good circulation ? Thanks
Thank Anita. I think you asking about putting your legs against a wall. Scooch your butt as close to a wall as possible. Lengthen your legs all the way up the wall. Hold for at least 2 minutes.

Just skip the crunches Brenda. We do traditional crunches with rounding the spine, as well as a side reach crunch (on our back) that should be avoided.

So I just tried this for the first time and I cant believe how much this hurts my back. I mean kills my back. I stopped because the pain was so bad. Not sure why . It honestly scared me
