I drove down last December to order my son a ball glove. Yes, you can order them online, but it was only a few hour drive, and he could feel the leathers, see the colors in person, and see what can be done. I went in and bought some boots while there. Also, I bought some Nocona coffee pods (which benefits the food outreach) from the boot store. It was very good and has actually remained one of my favorite coffees. I recommend the trip to visit this town. My son has been loving the glove since it arrived, and my boots are very comfortable. We had a great time, and will go back soon.
Every summer we drove from Pampa to Corpus Christi, on the way back dad stopped at the old boot factory and bought a pair from the store they had factory seconds for cheap. Late 60s to mid 70’s.
My parents bought me a Nocona baseball glove when I played teener ball. I'm now 66 and the glove is still in my possession and is still soft and useable!
Man i know this dude Craig, he sold my friend boots in fort worth. Great Christian guy who donates large portions of his income to homeless shelters and other causes. He also ran for government as a republican and yes I voted for him. Be sure to support Nocona and our state y'all 🤠🇨🇱💪
I can't believe I drove through this town and didn't make the connection to Nacona boots. I looked right at this factory, however it was on Thanksgiving day, so I wouldn't have been able to stop as they weren't open.
@@elcocoreyes This is correct you can still find the nocona boots seldomly made by Justin Boot Co. but they tend to favor their own brand Justin and Tony Lama boots. In my opinion this company Justin Boots is trying to kill the Nocona boot brand that Mrs. Edien worked so hard for.
Man I bought some new old stock Naconas from 19throwitaway and man they are wonderful and fit like they were made for me and only me… dammm it all the good things always come to an end… and the china crap is always on the rise…
They make Lucchese still in El Paso. Nocona is owned by Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffet’s company) along with Tony Lama ,Justin and Chippewa. From what I understand some of the exotic Tony Lamas are still made in El Paso too.
Been to Nacona twice now. Great little town. Awesome people.

Good stuff Shane! 👢👢 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing my friend!
You are a great man. This old horseman wore out lots of Nocona boots and you could sleep in them. I never put a china made boot on my foot...

Are Naconna boots even being made?
yes. made by Justin Boot Co.
@TJ this is false information Justin Boot Co. Makes nocona boot brand . Fenoglio only makes their own brand of boots in Nocona Texas.

@TJ well guess you just need to do your homework.
Are they as good a boots as Tony Lama?
Much better
Nocona boots are not made in Nocona anymore. Most are made in El Paso.

They killed a lot of jobs in that town. Went to Mexico. I will never buy another pair.
Well, this guy who presently owns the place, IS making boots in America, so I don't see your point.
They're selling boots there, not making them, just another retail store combined with dining / drinking.
@@boblebrea4933 made in Mexico. Never will my family buy another pair.
