I'd rather have the F3D Radar which tell you exactly where to shoot than 2 Aim-9B that are pretty useless in 95% of situations and can be avoided by a little turn (sometimes they dont even track right) + 4 hisparkos ... seahawk is not op dude.

@Silas I have it too. I have a nice 2:1 K/D in it. But still: 2 x Aim-9Bs + 4 Hisparkos (500 rounds) < 4 AN/M3s (800 rounds) + basically a AB lead indicator. And F-84s outrun it, P-80 outturn it and pretty much everything outgun it. It's a good plane at most, but not OP.
The German sea hawk is really good, 70% win rate, 80 deaths and 183 kills. And most of my kills are from the AIM-9 missile
John Reever you must not really know how to use them. Even in the vautour you can set up some nasty kills with missiles if your under 1 km away from target because they have almost no time to react

@Sir Jerrt just shoot the big flat square part to the right of the gun. You get the gunner and I think driver. Then just shoot the other square on the left side and you kill it. You can do this with pretty much any tank.

Hi phly, you should try using the A-36 with the extra 4mgs and ground targets rounds in naval Arcade, it shreds boats apart infact IT can destroy a S-100 in less then 3 seconds

Wood is just as radar reflective as aluminum or any other metal used in plane construction... the propellers in particular have a high radar cross-section.

Attacking the enemy’s star ships in a different match from the future by launching your proton torpedoes into a wormhole.
What Gaijin should do is create a "barrier" between post war and mid/pre-war vehicles. That way, we dont run into issues like versing this when in a 262. Essentially historical balancing.
I have experienced nothing but pain and suffering in this jet. I have played 10 games and been at 7.7 every game against F-84s who just dunk on me because they are at our spawn before I even take off.

The F3D1 is actually the only Br 7.0 plane which has a tracking radar with lead indicator even on Br 8.0 and above, even a simple search radar is rarly there.

Warthunder 2.0:
In air RB there should be reduced points for fighters who's ground attacking team mates fail to reach their targets. Make them do their duty and defend their team mates, with some perhaps even having the option to spawn in escort formation. This could be introduced alongside a separate game mode for fighter only matches, where they are free to fight like gladiators and ignore the ground mission if they wish. Currently, their stated mission is to destroy the enemy's ground equipment and bases, not to have a central dogfight while letting the planes we are supposed to be protecting get shot down. The points allocation system needs to more accurately reflect this, penalizing fighter pilots who ignore their main mission.
SAMs guarding tier 5 AFs too please, and how about we stop making the bombers fall apart so easily like they were made of freakin' legos?
I hope one day they add like the F-15, F-16, F-14, F-18, (US) MiG-28, MiG-29, Su-27(Soviet/Russian) That would be AMAZING

Thomas Why do I need to enter a last name They have bots in the game files that you can see on the aircraft carriers and artillery batteries already in game. People access them in the files for user made missions and they have infantry with small arms and antitank weapons that all fire and work. If I had to guess infantry in War Thunder would be a mix of how Arma Zues controls AI infantry and would probably feel like playing Carriers in World of War Ships.
Something about a jet aircraft with WW2 fighter style wings just tickles my fancy.

I’ve played it out a lot since it got lowered to 7.0. I’m not my best with jets but I always feel comfortable with this one and regularly get a couple of kills. I tend to side climb and BnZ but now it’s got radar it just got a lot better. You can also spot for the team when the last ones are hidden.
Also danced with F84’s 1vs1 when got energy advantage.
Phly, here is a interesting suggestion. Play with friends and let the others play fighters and you play the f3d. That way you can use the radar as an AWACS aircraft.
B-47 Stratojet for USA, Tu-16 for USSR, and Vulcan bomber for UK in war thunder
and also the ability to drop nukes on certain maps
The B-47 drops the B41 Nuke
Avro Vulcan drops the Blue Danube atomic bomb
and the TU-16 just carries conventional bombs :)
also add in the F-89 scorpian for USA

HO-229 should be super hard to lock on to, IRL its shape significantly reduces its radar signature, not enough that its really undetectable but enough that it could only be detected at like half as far away as other aircraft, and that's from the front, where its intakes ruin its stealth a bit, from the sides and rear it was extremely hard to detect
Maybe all the way up to modern jets I would pay for that. Imagine flying an F22 raptor and taking down bi-planes from the first war
