S...... Very true, I have watched the match live, back then too I have said, more than the referee his corner should have stopped the fight, that was nothing short of sacrificing the fighter which could put the career of the fighter in jeopardy.
@@micromaxcanvas3531 Yeah made no sense to let it go on . The Thai could of break his leg . Thai usually will not throw full power leg kick if they see that their opponent are done but in an MMA fight the Thai would most likely go for the kill . The reffere could of made enormous damage to Scilt health . Also the Thai is Yodkaikaew , many people saw that he has even outclassed Yodsanklai Fairtex ( the best 70 KG Thai fighter of the last two decade ) even in sparring it looked liked they were actually fighting still Yodsanklai got a very hard time dealing with Yodkaikaew . Also note that Yodsanklai is 70-73 KG while Yodkaikaew is only 61 KG . Dunno if it's true or not but it was probably when Yodsanklai was old and declining ( so last 5 years ) . Still very impressive if true . It's like if a prime 61 KG Thai guy manage to outclass 33-38 years old Buakaw Banchameck .
This should have been obvious, but commentary is really for the casual fan, if you can see and understand what is happening on your own - man this is so much more enjoyable. Thumbs up!
It's enjoyable watching a helpless opponent get beaten into a pulp? Is there some universal, deserved disdain for the Blue fighter that this constitutes a fair and sporting fight?
@SpartacusColo It's enjoyable because both athletes exhibited high-level techniques as a result of long training Obviously one was better than the other that night, but that's what a sports competition is. There's a loser and a winner What sort of sports do you usually watch?
In the past Muay thai master always teach their students (Muay Thai boxer) to fight with people who stand to fight not people that fall on the ground or lay on the ground because it all about how to respect people who they fight with.
I see lots of comments regarding the referee and the corner not stopping the fight.... The other fighter could've stopped the fight himself anytime. Each opportunity he was given to stand up he took. He could've refused to stand and concede defeat, which he did not. He was punished for his foolishness, he chose to stand.
Fighters typically ignore the pain. It's what they are trained to do. The corner is there to advise and watch over their fighter. The referee is there to maintain the rules and protect the fighters when all other sources of common sense have gone to the pub: it was like the ref completely didn't care that Blue was getting subjected to serious injury for his lack of ability to protect himself or take to the offense. It was like all expectation was that Blue was getting paid to just stand there and get kicked. I don't follow MMA, but this fight looks like a complete joke. Either the blue fighter completely tanked his prefight training and prep, or this fight never should have been put on: Blue was outclassed the entire time. It was painfully obvious that Blue was out of his league from very early on: I would hope that a ref wouldn't stand for such nonsense for so long.
Loved it but I'm surprised that the referee let Alex get up since it's a MMA match and imagine if they allowed elbow/knees standing and on the ground. Yodkaikaew would've ended it way faster if they allowed the rules like that.
Probably because the strikes were mainly leg kicks - I'm sure if he'd been being knocked down like that by head strikes the fight would have been stopped much earlier (hopefully haha)
Muay Thai is designed for a brawl war. Falling down or lying down is probably like a loser or dead: the chance of being hit repeatedly to death is very high on the battlefield, and knocking down in boxing is also a kind of cut, so when you are in the arena, you don't repeat your opponent as a way of honor, and the viewer or opponent will know for themselves how much the fallen fighter is inferior in tactics to the opponent. Will be lying in wait for your opponent's foot. How?
Battle on the battlefield In a wrestling match, you will be stabbed by enemies with spears and swords. That is why Muay Thai is fought in a standing position.
Listen to the sound of those leg kicks 😱
No commentary and no crowd is glorious and intense combat, thank you!

Something so beautiful and pure about no commentary MMA. Amazing sound. With no graphic overlays either is just too good. It's like art.
Yes true.
This is torture .
Reffere should of stopped it several minutes earlier .
If you can't even stand then why fight on ?
100% agreed so not the Alex Schild team have to give up the fight .

to schild corner: " it's not a shame to give up" you should protect your fighter instead of letting him get executed
It was mostly leg kicks.. if his head was taking more damage, then stopping it would have been good.

this no commentary thing should be in the ufc, because a few of them inside the box are getting too biased these days
like when israel fought jan?
Even when they aren't biased, fights happen too fast for live commentary to be useful.
Wait I didn't realise there's no commentary
That was astounding! So good without commentary! And wow... That was a massacre.
What an absolute dominant performance WOW, Yodkaikaew is a BEAST those leg kicks are BRUTAL. props to him.
Ya know it’s the blacks who hate the Asians. They don’t tell us that.
What his legs will look like over the next couple days is scary. Hope he didnt get any nerve damage.
MAKE HIM STAND UP. lol
Leg kicks for days lol

Perhaps the Ref should have stopped the fight - or Alex’s corner should have chucked in the towel - at the end of the 2nd round.
Excellent finish
