Definitely need to do more mic righteous! All of his fire in the booths are 🔥 and each one he gets better (also his songs and other freestyles are 🔥 especially his song called 'the pen'
Cool, noted and will look to do so. Impressive is an easy word to say here, and yet, it feels underrated for him. Really dug his stuff and looking forward to more.
For your next I recommend either Lowkey Soundtrack to the Struggle or English Frank 100 Bars of Truth and I can message you part 1 of 100 Bars of Truth because there's 3 of them from English Frank.
EB, thanks homie and feel free to do so. I have Lowkey going to be slated for one of his soon and will add this as well. But, hadn't had anyone mention English Frank. Thanks buddy!
Hes said many times his favourite artist growing up was dmx so I imagine it was in reference to him, and you should check out his song statement, he talks about him in that
Mic is a monster. Paints the most vivid imagery and has so many flows he can switch up. You will see that with FITB 1 2 3 4, but Pathways is one of his best for visualising
Yes, the flows and imagery combined with that passion places him on a special level. I am looking forward to other things he has done as well and thanks for suggesting Pathways as I don't think that one was mentioned.
Mic is as real as it gets and he did pay homage to DMX on his passing in his Instagram, saying that DMX was one of the realest that moulded his rap game…Great reaction Sir and #2 is 🔥🔥
Just come across your channel Rod, I'm from the UK and your reactions are excellent, you bring a level of experience not seen on other channels. I'm intrigued with you dropping on our UK rappers as I feel they have been under represented in the US until recently. We have some absolute fire here in the UK and rap with a purpose is valued in certain circles. Looking forward to your forthcoming reactions. I'd also like to provide a foundational list of UK based fire below (This is not an exhaustive list, just some clear high level talent) which exemplifies the level of UK rappers. Akala - Fire in the Booth - Part 4 (Akala operates on level outside of the norm, this piece has something special at the end also) Wretch 32 & Avelino - Fire in the Booth (Wretch 32 one of the best wordsmiths going, Avelino was very much his apprentice and has come through as something special) Wretch 32 - Fire in the Booth Part 5 (All Wretch 32's FITB's are excellent, but Part 5 is off the charts in double and triple meaning bars) Swiss - Daily Duppy (Swiss was in a large rap group in the 2000's called So Solid Crew, man is a Barbarian, bars will twist your head) Kano - Fire in the Booth (Kano is an OG Grime man, this is done all in one take and easily top three FITB) George the Poet - I Need (Maverick Sabre Live Lounge Version) - (Great insight into the situation in the UK for many Black youths) Kate Tempest - Europe is Lost (Live on KEXP) - (Something different but excellently performed and perfectly describes the shit show in the UK currently) Little Simz - Introvert (Little Simz is one of the best rappers at the moment, Introvert is a recent release and theatrical cinematic, strong pen game) Little Simz - Venom (Demonstrates the sheer professionalism of Simz) Big Narstie - Fire in the Booth Part 3 (Big Narstie is a Grime artist in the UK and propped up the Grime scene even when it popularity wained but is back stronger that ever now) Avelino - Daily Duppy GRM Daily (Avelino has some of the strongest bars with double and triple meaning throughout, Outstanding) Lowkey - Fire in the Booth Part 2 (Lowkey is a conscious rapper and comments the realities in the UK and the corruption of Government) Dave - Lesley (Dave speaks about such an important subject hear, Dave's whole album Psychodrama is amazing) Mic Righteous FITB Parts 2,3,4 (Mic gets better and better and you get a feel for his progression throught these performances, particularly his battle with mental health) Dave - Bl@ckbox S6 Ep 24/65 (Dave is only 16 here and give a performance straight from the heart about his brother being locked up under a joint enterprise crime which is where the government are locking up people even if they didnt actually commit the crime but were connected int he slightest of ways) Dave - Freestyle LA Leakers - Dave kills is with more passion and a good few years after Blackbox Hope you have a look at the rappers/performances on this list, I'm so proud of the level these guys operate at in the UK, they are life affirming performances that change you after listening to them.
MGM, this is awesome and I appreciate you providing such great detail as this does really help. UK rappers have definitely been underplayed here in the states over the years and a good amount of stuff here in the states had become so commercialized and except for some standouts, so routine. Growing up with hip hop and being in it through the golden years, the UK scene has reinvigorated me to what I used to love and glad to definitely be able to share. I will look to try to get these in as well, but right now I am uploading once a week due to work and my other channels but I am going to try to increase the frequency for sure. This really is great and again, I appreciate you for sharing!
There is so much mic righteous for you to get into. This mic righteous has developed so much since this came out too!! He also reacts to reactors to give them views exc to pay then back as they support him 👌🏿
Mic righteous is deep. Check out his tracks Mic righteous 3rd degree Mic righteous darkness Mic righteous the pen lyric video Mic righteous because I love you
I'm just a guy but mic is IMO the best out there right now his latest album was just perfect all the way thorough and his latest sbtv he did is the best one, and yes he should be called mic passion no one bleeds through like him Great reaction look forward to the next one
No doubting his passion for sure and looking forward to checking out his other stuff since this time. There is no doubting his skills for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting, and look forward to your future comments as well.
Love watching mic righteous reactions, and it's good to see you took it all in, he was young here, please check part 2, 3 and 4, in order too, to see the progress, a very special talent
You should definitely do the other 3 of his fire in the booths because he only gets better and the 2nd one speaks on the London riots so the subject matter makes it a favorite for many but my all time favorite fire in the booth EVER.... IS MICS 3RD! pure passion that gets me at the end with chills EVERYTIME and I've probably heard it 300+ times by now.... BTW he's my UK 🐐 🤗
Yes, I do plan to check out the others as well. For me, it's just finding the time to get them in with work and other social media and UA-cam channels that I run. I need to just immerse myself one day in just videos and doing reactions, lol.
London Girl thank you and am planning to also check out as many definitely have suggested. A great talent and looking forward to checking out for sure. Welcome to the channel, I look forward to more of your comments!
I can't recommend enough Lowkey! His Fire in the Booth 2 is amazing but his videos for'Ahmed' and 'The Ghosts of Grenfell' will stay with you for a long time. Lowkey and Akala are the essential viewing.
Jay yes, looking forward to bringing in Lowkey which I am familiar with but hadn't listened to yet. A lot of people seem to really dig him and will plan to have one soon here for sure as well as more Akala. Thanks for watching and commenting, keep them coming.
Fantastic - one of the most cerebral reactions I've seen. I've seen you've found Akala and Mic Righteous, definitely check out Lowkey's fire in the booths too, both are great (part 1 is my personal favourite ✌️)
Chips thanks, and I do plan to do so. I am just trying to add a variety of artists but getting the request for these a good amount of times so may have to definitely move up into the mix.
I highly recommend doing all 4 in order. Heart on his sleeve, always. I am looking forward to his Manchester gig in February (and Lowkey's gig this month) 😁
yes please do 2,3,4 if you think that was impressive that's just the start! also check out both his sbtv warm up session way to many to mention all his work is a next level of content
Yes, I have no doubt about that. This was one of the first ones asked for me to check out, but others have definitely asked for me to look at his later stuff as well.

Mic Righteous is one of the most under rated in the UK, he puts so much passion into his verses, he wears his emotions on his sleeve.
And I love that it comes through in his music as well...
Hes said many times his favourite artist growing up was dmx so I imagine it was in reference to him, and you should check out his song statement, he talks about him in that
