- Well this is a little overwhelming. Clips showing entering the Manderville Gold Saucer for the first time. I LOVE that this patch was pretty much dedicated to something not focusing around combat, or even crafting. Just having fun in a different way, it makes the game far richer than it was beforehand. Enjoy!

My absolute favorite part of this track is when the drumline kicks in; and I wish it lasted longer! But I suppose that's a moot point, since it's one of only two music tracks I'll be hearing until 2.52.
For some reason this has been stuck in my head several times over the past few weeks even though I haven't played the game in almost a year.
Started playing ff14 right after I beat ff7 and its remake. Hearing and seeing this for the first time made me SQUEAL

Fucking monthly subscription, the one thing stopping me from playing this game. Can't we just buy the game once and let that be it or is someone gonna come by and bitch at me cause they swear by that goddamn monthly subscription, thinking that without it, this game would fall like MMOs before it, when you know, you look at Elder Scrolls Online which dropped the monthly subscription in favor of buying the game once and playing forever and it's still going strong today, (And not to mention the Morrowind expansion coming out)
There _is_ an "unlimited" Free Trial (capped at Lv.35) which also gives you access to Gold Saucer.
So there you go.

The ones who say original is better is the ones who haven't played this and are on the fanboy talk ,,, I played them both but this one is the better for me with the added drums and much clearer
This looks so boring...so many things disgust me in this video/game..
First is the FFVII Gold saucer theme slaugher with terrible drums that take a big dump in my ears.
Second is that all the characters I see in this video looks like 10 years old kids in cosplay costumes. I sincerely hope that the characters models for the FFVII remake won't be looking childish and girly as the latest of Square Enix games since FFX. My expectations are not very high anymore...Let me guess...They will remake barett with a sugar cane held into his hand instead of his gunarm. Tifa chest will be flat. Hojo will be playing with toys in a sandbox instead of playing with dna and Jenova cells....Cloud will look like a 5 years old with a toy as a sword....You get my point..

First: This is FFXIV, FFVII quite another. Second: You are so wrong man, si wrong if you want to make look your character like 10 years old as you say, you can do it or not, in the game theres a lot of armor and cool clothes, so stop crying :p, you sound like an imature child. Perhaps that laid it out well enough, but just to be clear, here are the principles of why you are wrong:
A.) In aesthetics, it is okay to have preferences. It is, however, also okay for others to have their preferences that are not in agreement with yours.
2.) SJWs do not have a history of letting anything slide, yes. SE, however, does not have a history of letting SJWs determine its content. SE and Japanese media devs in general do have a history of implementing unneeded censorship to meet standards that may or may not (mostly may not) exist in the West, and SE is not an exception, as is quite noticeable in VI. However, SE would not stoop to the level of redesigning their characters and story to fit what is PC to some pansies.
Γ.) Animations and art styles have not been progressively more childish, girly, or PC. The settings of other FF games (main numerics and spin-offs) have been mostly brighter, not as edgy and grimdark as VII. This has no correlation to PC culture; it is simply a matter of a variety of settings, characters, and styles. That's a good thing.
IV.) VII remake trailers have shown exactly what style they are sticking to in VII. Oh, that's not relevant because you wrote this comment nine months ago? Know what was around earlier than that? VII: Advent Children, VII: Dirge of Cerberus, VII: Crisis Core, VII: Before Crisis, VII: Last Order . . .

My mom's a complete nerd. She had me when she was young-- I'm older than she was, now, when she had me. She loved video games and anime and stuff, so I was introduced to that all at a very early age. That stuff's just always been there for me. Me and my mom butt heads a lot when I was growing up, lots of bullshit we both went through. I'm moved out now. I've been moved out for over a year. I miss her. I used to ask her how she could play ff14 all day every day without getting bored and she could never really tell me. She just liked it a lot. I remember when I was small I wanted to play it so bad, she'd let me level up her botanist by doing her chores n quests and shit and I didn't have a care in the world because I was really excited to play. I used to happily message her fc friends. The first time she let me run a dungeon for her was when she had to go answer the door for someone and it took longer than she expected. She bought me an account when I was 16. We played a lot together. She used to get sad when I couldn't motivate myself to play more.
I wish I did play more. I don't really have the means to play it anymore. I miss staying up later than I was supposed to, doodling away at 2, 3, 4 in the morning and hearing the Golden Saucer theme playing distantly on her desktop in the living room. We spent a lot of time there.
I wish I was kinder to my mom. Maybe she would've been kinder to me.
Is it too late to be kinder right now?

I was just jolted awake after about 2 and a half hours of sleep with this specific rendition of the gold saucer theme blaring in my head.
I havent played FF14 since the release of the expansion with Dark Knight and Astronomer.

When I first came here I practically stayed for the whole day just to play around in those mini games, events. it was kind of kind of quiet walking around (everyone busy playing Triple Triad, Chocobo Racing) but other than that it was fun, I seriously need to stop going in that place keep on forgetting to do those Daily Roulette and Daily Item making.

CrimsonCaius That's a replica playground for the Mini game. It would be funny if there was a grave of him for a easter egg. I've seen some fun easter egg last year on ESO though. It sure was fun to notice.

Actually, there's been hints that the 4.0 expansion may be related to Ivalice; it wont be straight up Ivalice, but i'll bet there will be lots of reference, if the hints the devs dropped DO connect 4.0 with Ivalice.
I just hope the Moogles of ivalice get referenced or in FFXIV. That would make me buy the game.

I honestly prefer this version better just because the notes are more clearer and it made transcribing this piece for a violin part way easier
Definitely Agree, much better in Final Fantasy VII, the piece fits the Location, while this seems heavily undermade.
It's a neat version, but the original got the sound perfect (similar to the Ducktales moon theme) and I think modern instrumentation doesn't do it as much justice, as it was imitating an equally synthy song (Baroque Hoedown which was used in Disney's Main Street Electrical Parade).
This isn't 1997 anymore , leave the fanboy talk behind
@@wozzielfc401 But this version just doesn't feel like the Golden Saucer. The Golden Saucer was a big, extravagant, opulent casino / theme park. It needs an equally extravagant and opulent fanfare playing in the background. It needs something which is booming and impressive and feels like it's everywhere at once, something which feels cheap and expensive at the same time. This version from FFXIV, though? It just feels cheap. It's not like an orchestra, but more like a four-person street band. It just doesn't capture the feel of the Golden Saucer.
I haven't played 14 in so long, but I still remember this place gave me the Glamours I still wear on my Astro and probably will never change because I love the outfit too much

Ehhhhh......as an AVID and dedicated Fan of Final Fantasy VII...I'm going to have to say this is definitely not okay.... The Golden Saucer is a Legendary Landmark Location within the world of FFVII, if they brought it into FFVII, Where's Costa Del Sol? Where's Wutai? Where's Modeoheim, Nibelheim, Midgar, or any other famous locations..... They shouldn't bring a PIECE of FFVII hoping to add some flair to a new title... Just my opinion though....
