Well hopefully it will be a better lake but it's going to take a long time and who knows what will happen I have lots of memories on lake Conway,the first time was in 1963 when my uncle took me crappie fishing with minnows and I've been hooked on fishing ever since thank you Uncle Burky

I learned an old catfish bait that was used years ago, was bars of Ivory soap that they cut up and baited their hooks with. A friend of mine learned that technique from his grandmother and he says they tore the catfish up. He still fishes with it lol
Everything changes over time. The farm I hunted back in 1986 is not anywhere near the same today. I've had to adapt. Deer are not at the old honey holes. And there are far fewer deer hunters than back then. It's 1500 acres. I have sat in there for hours and not saw a single deer because no one else in in there to get the deer moving.
@@COLE_and_JAY The world changes around all of us on a daily basis. Change is good. We have to be accepting of this because we have to adapt. My Mom, God rest her soul, did not like change. I told her that 30 years ago when she was still living. She asked me, "Do YOU believe that?" I said yes because we simply have to live and learn. I still believe that change is a good thing!

The walking trip was very interesting. I like exploring places like that. The boat was creepy to see. I have found those also. Good video Cole!

This place was awesome and thriving though which is the sucky part. We are definitely having to adapt haha

They drain it so homeowners can fix their docks plus place or make new fish holding spots.
A drawdown for that would have been fine but they completely emptied and killed all the fish
