When you do the wet-on-wet look & drag thru the wet polish... how long does it take to dry (both to touch & final)? I always end up smudging it when I try!
I hope she will reply but if it's me, I am going to wait probably 15-20 minutes at least before moving to do anything or making any adjustments to the look or adding topcoat.
I’d give it at least 15 minutes. Usually closer to 30 just to be sure the design isn’t going to smear when I put on top coat.
There are smudge proof topcoats that can lock in the design while still wet, so you’re just waiting on the topcoat. It’s a time saver but they usually get goopy & stringy halfway through the bottle. Still, it really doesn’t smudge.
