MAEVA is a beautiful mature woman who has ended up with two substandard men, they are not up to the mark. If James was really there for her then she would not want or need any validation from Miles. I do think that Miles is slightly cruel and does lead Maeva on, AKA gaslighting. James said that he wants to be the one to propose, but he has not. Three to six months max for an engagement or forget it. James is 26, which is not young for an engagement, but he is spoilt and he does not appreciate a true heart and a commitment to move to the grown up stage of life. Maeva please go because James is humiliating you, you are slowly being conditioned to get used to it. Let him have his big house to rattle around in his old age all by himself. Maeva I think that a man maybe a couple of years older who is ready for love and a family would be a happier life in the long term.

She never planned to ask the blessing of Miles before she popped the question.. he was there and she did it spontaneously.. to add drama, she’s dramatic, and they’re filming a show.. it’s a great scene and storyline.
