Says a person who is using the internet right now and what makes you think ppl are not getting off the arses to get things done?
I was 12 then. Saw Cilla Black doing a photoshoot down Carnaby Street in 1968 . I asked for her autograph and she told me to "piss off!'
Ha, ha, that's not very nice of her!
Really caught the feel of the times.
Thanks, they were great times.

This is so cool. I wish I had lived in the 60's. The 21st century is pants.
You are quite right, it was a great time to be young and jobs were plentiful and no one asked for university degrees!

Yes, I feel sorry for the youth of today!
girls and boys looked fab
I was 2 in 1968, cool video
Everyone well dressed, makeup discreet, females looking very attractive, natural. No huge puffy lips , eyebrows that look like train tracks , I can never understand why females of today think its necessary.
I agree, they look ridiculous these days!
The Press were quick to show us the beach invasion skirmishes early 60s. I think they forgot the other true side; super generation cool mods. Credit to society mature, trendy and class kids all the way. Great Video.
I'm glad that you enjoyed my home movie.
England was World Champions in football at this time .... btw ;)
J.Lyons..!!! OMG.. I got my first job there! By the way, what's the soundtrack? Sounds so funky!!!!
The sound track is a Royalty free track included in my editing software Pinnacle Studio 20
Assuming they were 20 in this movie, they'd be in their 70s now!
I will be next year!
I'm living in this video.
i bought a Peter Green poster in CS in 1970 and clothes in 69... such a big time

Great to see this film| The street had Magic then, inevitable that the multi corporates move in boring street that could be anywhere? Anyhow from the above date I'll be getting my scooter next year and the year after that my Ford Anglia which cost me 65 pounds as I remember great days!
