I don’t think metal fans get enough credit when it comes to having peaceful festivals….no gunshots,no fighting and yelling…just a sea of humans enjoying something that we love and have in common …I love these festivals. 🤘
What a beautiful story. This makes me so happy for you, Wyatt. I checked out your channel last year when you had under a 1000 subscribers, and now you played your favourite festival. It's so impressive and wholesome. You are our savior!
It was such a good festival. Spotted myself in your set footage a couple times. I loved the set up forcing people to go check out smaller bands at the beach stage during the day, and the lack of clashes. I didn't think anything could rival brutal assault, but this is as good, but in different ways. Only complaint was that drinks were expensive on the festival site, but I was able to nionbacknto my tent for a beer between each band. also, loved that re-purposed fire truck which after as public transport. Spent like an hour just riding round in the roof of it drinking beers. Amazing festival!
I thought I was dumb when I was at the Venice airport and seen you coming out of the arrivals hahaha Was there to pick a person up and I didn’t really think about it afterwards, but now you’ve confirmed it. There are not many metalheads in the area so it comes pretty eyecatchy. If I knew I would have said hi. Glad you had an amazing experience there at Tolminator even though I couldn’t make it there this year.
I feel ya. I played 3 Euro fests: 2 in Germany and 1 in Holland. Never Surrender Fest in Berlin, we played in front of a packed Columbia Theater in front of 3500 black metallers. It was gnarly fun. I played Messe Des Morts in Montreal, too... that was pretty awesome. Played in front of another pretty sick crowd at Martyrdoom in New York in 2013. Crazy nut-to-butt crowds are the best energy and makes for the best sets ever. Now, is this the fest that usedta be Metal Days? I was married when I live in Germany. My ex-wife loved going to Metal Days every year. EDIT: Looks like a great time! Nice lil circle pit on command there! Congrats to you and your band on a successful outing, bub. Cheers!
I'm so happy for you and your band that you got to play your first set in Europe at, what seems to be an awesome chill festival! I went to two small festivals closer to my home: Jera on Air in the Netherlands and Alcatraz in Belgium. Those are fantastic too, although neither got a lake to swim in nor the ability to paraglide lol.
Was great meeting you and seeing you perform! I have been going to many festivals since 2009 and indeed this was also my favorite edition ever. I did not want to go home after being there for 7 days. I really hope to be there again next year. Greetings from the Netherlands!
Tolminator this year felt like Metalcamp/early Metaldays. Way more intimate, so many amazing people. It was amazing We got our tickets for next year on the spot. Only grudge I hold is the 6€ beers... But 18€ 1L Cocktails made up for that
It was simply awesome. This is the second year I felt welcomed, not getting scammed. Sound was amazing, Soča was cold and weather was great. I must admit this was also the first time I bought early bird ticket. Because I trust the organizers!!! Wyatt, it was great meeting you in Nona, a rare time we where both sober haha. Hope you will come next year too!
Wyatt...nice to see that you played on the same lineup as Jim from Jungle Rot.. (AOL HEAVY METAL here) -I- Great set.. Glad to see you had a good crowd going. Glad to see you had such a great turnout and such an amazing time on the lazy river of metal heads drinking and having a wonderful time. SUFFOCATION representing Electric Wizard played? OMFG.. Epic. Jealous..with love.. L8dy..
That is absolutely amazing. Metal festivals always look like more of a hassle than their worth with the giant crowds, the ridiculous amount of money, and all that. But this looks like a great time in gorgeous location. Huge congratulations on getting to play at that venue!
This was awesome! I'm not even into this kind of metal but I subscribe because you crack me up! It was great to watch this adventure for you and your band. Nice work, dude! I hope you keep it going!
This is an inspiring & fun video. Makes me want to overcome travel issues, explore gloriously beautiful places, enjoy a festival run by people who love fans, get out of crowded dirty money grabbing lines and enjoy the water and the sky, and not give up on dreams. Even a pizza post credit clip. So awesome
Mate! This vid is awesome, I've always wanted to go to tolminator and I've finally gone and purchased tickets for next year, you inspired us! Your band are sick! Do us a favour, first get back and play there again next year, if not get yourself over to bloodstock and play there! And failing that get yourself to any other European festival and I'm there!
literally living my dream, just gotta figure this vocal thing out then im grinding the FUCK out of music. Mark my words, i will play a show with DI one day 😤
Kick ass! 🤘😁 Great to see that the show and festival went well. I discovered that a couple of friends were at the festival! I'll ask them if they saw you when I meet them at Midgardsblot at the end of the week, and what they thought. 😄
nah not bad at all as a performer myself, wyatt you do great with your band.. would be killer if you guys had your own unique outfits if thats something you want to expand on.. it would help identify what music your trying to convey and perform... i love it though seriously.. might see you out on tour sometime this year coming..(2025)
WOW, this is the festival where I have to go, this all looks so awesome, looks like festival and holiday at once! Forget Wacken, Tolminator is the place to be🤘
Hi! Nice video, I've been going to Tolmino since 2005, once it was called Metal Camp, then metaldays and now Tolminator. It's always very nice but there is no comparison with the organization that Metal Camp had, damn this year the ticket prices, food and drinks were a scam! Anyway, do you have any videos of Exodus and Tankard? I was in the mosh pit and I would like to relive those moments
Badass! Okay Wyatt it's time dor you and the rest of the Dark Insanity to come on Razor Radio to share some stories! Let me know when you wanna come on!
Yo Wyatt what's that song you're playing in the clip? Can't make out much but those drums and your vocals are siick 🤘 this festival looks kickass and Tolmin looks beautiful, I'd love to go someday
I know you were joking but at some point if you put out a live DVD you'll probably get your show into quite a few living rooms. Also again, look at that crowd! I bet you guys had a ball and are still riding that wave.
Wait, *REAL* toilets? Well, la-dee-da Mr. Hollywood, did they serve gold-encrusted escargot while they were at it? (But seriously, this sounds awesome, glad to hear you had such a blast)
THE REASON THE ROADS ARE THE WAY THEY ARE IN EUROPE IS BECAUSE THE COUNTRIES WEREN'T INVENTED JUST BEFORE CARS AND SO THE ROADS WERE BUILT A LONG TIME BEFORE ANYONE EVEN THOUGHT OF A CAR. A LOT OF THE ROADS IN EUROPE WERE BUILT BY THE ROMANS AND CAN BE UP TO 2000 YEARS OLD.
I don’t think metal fans get enough credit when it comes to having peaceful festivals….no gunshots,no fighting and yelling…just a sea of humans enjoying something that we love and have in common …I love these festivals. 🤘

If you ever make it back to Rome, visit the Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini for the crypt tour. It's a very metal experience.
The savior of metal delivered once again.
Full set vid?
Top report man. This year I sadly had to jump it.....
The cut to the office clip was hilarious
Badass! Okay Wyatt it's time dor you and the rest of the Dark Insanity to come on Razor Radio to share some stories! Let me know when you wanna come on!

The chick in the Daisy Dukes was my hero.

I saw Suffocation at the Baso in Canberra and thought I fractured my sternum in the pit
I know you were joking but at some point if you put out a live DVD you'll probably get your show into quite a few living rooms. Also again, look at that crowd! I bet you guys had a ball and are still riding that wave.
