I switched to a group of midwives at 30 weeks with my 4th child after my OB kept moving to different practices. Now I'm pregnant with my 7th child and seeing the same midwives. They are awesome💕
I'm seeing so much more about birth than I ever would have imagined when having my boys! I've had the same doctor since my son was born 32 years ago. Never had any issues and he always listens wholeheartedly. This is why I advocate so hard for mamas now!
I had great experience with some doctors, but others are exactly like this video. Is all about data for them, but they’ll not share or elaborate. I got my stomach measure, but she said nothing. It was my first time there so I had no clue what was happening. Once I arrived home and searched “why measure stomach” I was like. Is mine good or bad? She said NOTHING and left.
I hate seeing doctors. First they make u sit and wait in them to come in and see what's wrong then when u try to tell them what is wrong they try to hurry u up so they can see other patients and then they are so rude. This is why I may do a midwife thing when I'm pregnant 😊
@@thebenjaminfam my baby is now 2 months old. I went with a birth center with midwife it was an amazing experience and I will be doing birth center again for my next pregnancy in the future 🎉
I find midwifes useless tbh mine told me not to call her but yet doesn't reply to me i have been bleeding really bad since the start still am nonstop though I was losing my baby am still bleeding at 12 weeks but baby is fine but the bleeding is worse and worse but now she hasn't replied and I'm not allowed to call her is this appropriate I don't feel it is I need to know our next move about to give up with midwifes all together she told me if baby is ok She will refer me to a specialist in the hospital But had no contact After my scan I messaged her and nothing not to Mention I need to do my 12 weeks scan and she's not even bothering I'm not gonna be 12 weeks for much longer
This sounds scary, has ANYONE in the healthcare profession examined or seen/spoken to you yet? I know you commented 2 whole months ago but I hope that everything turned out for you and hope that you and baby are safe and well ❤
When it becomes high risk you would no longer be her patient she referred you out. She could have told you that tho. I was also glad to see you holding your babe from afar in your photo. Great!
Honestly it seems like curt and rude but if you don’t have a complex pregnancy there’s not much to do in an appointment. Be grateful when your appointments go like this because that usually means you have a healthy pregnancy.
What about the midwife part?? 🤷🏽♀️
I said the same thing and I actually hate this. At least tell us to go here or come back for part 2 tomorrow don't just leave us hanging lol

Start looking now and find a good doula. Do a consultation with both because it has to be a good match. God bless ☺️
Lol. SO true.
Aww this was cute ...beep, beep, beep, beep. But yes the mudwife part was missing. But i totally get it.
Ahaha for real...I finally switched to a midwife with my 3rd baby
How to get midwife
Yep sounds about right
i was thinking about studying obgyn but seeing this, i think it turned me away
I turned to Midwifery because I wanted to practice child delivery in a more natural way and it takes less time to achieve than OBGYN
But why was the Midwife part missing
So im pregnant with number 5 and this will be my first experience with a midwife. Should i do home birth or birthing center?
I think you should do whichever one makes you the most comfortable! Birthing centers are so nice!

Unless you're seeing a "midwife" in the hospital, not sure what the difference is....🤷🏼♀️

Find a different one… She sounds like she’s not doing her job. There’s a lot of excellent nurse midwives out there!
Find a new provider. She seems careless

Hlo, I am a international student and I am pregnant can you please help me to get midwife here.
