Lots of great ones. Scania was cool. Spotted that red T2000 twice. Didn't expect that. Kind of funny spotting in front of WM and not 1 WM truck horn haha
Jes scania s cool too im a fan of it and build a RC Version fom this truck ,butt is not finisht at this time .The Body is still mostly finished and in my channel to see
Well, we have the Brazilian VW truck as a Peterbilt/Kenworth, a Brazilian Mercedes, a French Renault/Mack and the 1980s European cab Mercedes trucks here in America. Though all of them are super rare, due to climate, operating cost and of course, the lack of dealerships and repair centers who can fix those non American trucks.
Nice catch Austin, some very nice trucks you caught. The tree truck had a horn under its front platform mounted by the windshield. That is a good one. Keep it up 👍🏻
The air horn on most is located on the steering wheel, and there’s a rocker switch that switches between the Air horn and City horn. He must’ve forgot to switch it.
0:33 “familiar truck” 0:52 we don’t speak about Jaindl 1:45 I had no idea that truck had a horn. I got a picture of it a while ago and never saw it since 2:26 that’s hot 10:31 glory pair 10:40 excuse me WHAT?? 13:32 THE ROUTE CHANGED?? Guess I’ll have to head out there sometime. Did you not stay for 353? 20:28 that’s beautiful
Back in the late 80s and 90s, Scania attempted to sell trucks here, aiming at the the heavier-spec Northeastern US. However, due to a flawed marketing strategy and lack of a good dealer network, they pulled out. Mercedes-Benz built trucks at Freightliner’s plant in Portland, and they were even more of a flop than Scania. Volvo got their foothold by buying out White Motors, who at the time was in rough shape financially, and then expanded with the acquisitions of GM heavy Trucks (produced their trucks for a short time), and Mack and Renault.
0:53 the maintenance dealership is Abreu Trucks is all the way located in Newark, NJ I-78 Exit 56 Elizabeth Avenue. I have only gotten one "navistar" to honk at me ever. And it was ALSO a rolloff and he honked twice on his way back as well. Not a rage, but still a toot. How ironic.
Drove a scania v8 crane truck for 2 years.. but that Was here in Norway... here Scania and Volvo rules.. but Who dosent love peterbilt With a cat or cummins 😇🥰 or all american trucks🤩

Nice classic trucks!
Great vid Austin! At 16.09 that's south b.e.c. they go up 89 here every day. It's cool to see someone else catch them.
Great catch on that Scania…BUT WHY THE CITY HORN

Scania is very rare! They can look really sharp with the proper paint job.
Unfortunately that one is one bland color.

1:45 it's very rare for them to have horns
Most of the S Series I see have them, they’re always just on the other side of the highway when I’m in the car
@@trucksouteast it's very rare for a cherry picker to have a horn here most of them dont sadly :/
All trucks around here of that configuration are F650s
0:51 The Scania? What are they doing here?

@@DMTruckSpotting all of Newark NJ says otherwise regarding Scania
@@trucksouteast I get what you’re saying
Do you know of any other hot spots for those? I just know of Newark and a company around Kutztown PA that has a few
