Yep. I haven't played the game in over 2 years, so I forgot how to play it. It's been 1 year since I followed the patch updates so I'm lost at the combo possibilities. With this new trailer I kind of know what's happening, but lost and excited at the same time.

What I'm actually impressed is that Capcom has decided to press the "Fuck, go back" button with SFV because, in case you haven't noticed, the cell shading filter actually gives SFV a complete makeover, reminiscent of the good ol' SF Alpha days and actually making it likeable and playable Atonishingly enough, it also makes it look like an ArcSys fighter of sorts. This can't be a coincidence, considering they also re-hired one of the guys who'd previously worked in MvC2 as their new Sr. Community and Social Media Manager

Most of their character models already look cooler than 95% of SFV's models without focusing too much on shadows. If you want realism, go play Fifa or some shit that is based on real events

I am so fucking hyped for this very update!! Way to end SFV on such an awesome note, those new combo routes that come out of nowhere are so fantastic and it nearly brought a tear to my eye, these characters are now better than they ever were before, even from Arcade Edition. Love the optional cel-shading as well, that is what Street Fighter IV should have looked like in the first place!
If Capcom added an updated version of Ken’s and Blanka’s stage I would’ve flipped. Nonetheless this is a welcomed and beautiful update. What a way to steal SNK’s thunder.
Unrelated to SFV but...I really like that pixel filter if it is indeed the same one used in the Capcom Arcade Stadium. I really hope that is also an option for the arcade collection of Darkstalkers coming out this summer. The Darkstalkers Resurrection collection on the PS3/Xbox 360 had a crt/scanline filter but it was pretty unappealing. Not a fan of the blurriness filters, I really dig the sharp shadow mask looking filters.
Because the game wasn't designed with cel-shading at it's core, this filter is just adding more strain to how the game runs. It would negatively effect online play, especially for systems that aren't high performance. Which is already a problem with some of the stages. Generally something like cel-shading or anything visual about the game, needs to be built into the games system as a core feature, that way they can build things like performance/animation/input delay, around that.
Is there any way that you guys can For example if instant overhead Ah landed in the game There has to be a way to program this and make it a reality I know I'm more commont 11 the instant overhead does does a combo but the problem is it just takes too long on start up If they could drastically speed that up in mortal company

I think that it’s gonna be a V-Trigger 2 thing. How it’s gonna change his Hadoken now? The EX version of the short-range to me was good for in combo. He’s gonna have 4-types now. I NEED ANWSERS!!!
Ahhh the usual final update of a Street Fighter game. Where it becomes the game everyone wanted from the start because the new one got announced. Then it will all repeat with Street Fighter VI. I will admit the game looks way better with the cel-shaded filter. That should've been a thing from the start as well, but I will give this update a chance regardless.
Looks like Juri's St. MP links into Cr. MK now, so happy for this change! Not the craziest change from a visual standpoint, but considering how many characters can do that link in modern SFV, it really felt like she was being held back by not being able to do it.

The game in it's current state can barely maintain 60 fps on PS4 online. The additional filters all but guarantee frame drops below 60fps. Frame drops result in artificial lag online due to how the netcode implements rollback. I'm sure this was an attempt to avoid more player complaints about the online experience after the update.
I opted out of this a few years back when V first came out and told us we'd have to pay for extra characters. That being said, the final product looks great! Unfortunately, it's a little too late. I'll just wait on VI at this point.

Gill's heavy fireball now has burn properties without needing meter/EX. This is a good thing already!
actually I think you can charge st.hp now, like urien, and it burns if you charge it. looked like the st.hp was more delayed than normal.

Completely agree, that was one of the turn offs for me with SFIV. The 3D polygonal look was close but not quite there yet.
