If that's the tube I think you're talking about that would be V8 on the RF board. (6AU6) It's part of the XTAL-CAL circuit. Not sure if it would cause a no audio condition if it's missing, but it might depending on how the circuitry is laid out. I'd have to stare at the schematic for a bit. Send you an e-mail. 73, AE5NW
