There's all kinds of damage that can happen physically and otherwise, and that can lead to bad things. (But not always. There's lots of good people with damage, we've all got something that bothers us after all.) Evil is usually the very self centered greedy and selfish people, but some people cause harm to others just because they want to. They might have their own justifications for it, but to me it's probably just a result of them having their own damages. (Not that this makes it okay for people to be evil. Just because bad shit happens to you doesn't make it fair for you to make bad shit happen to other people. If you're doing stuff that's causing other people to have a harder time getting through the day, that sucks and you should knock it off. Otherwise you suck too.)
And to the people bashing faith and religion, show some more respect. We all have to get along in this world and there are plenty of great people of faith out there who do great things out of love. They're not all this Copeland clown.

I went through a similar experience with Catholicism at a young age, not as bad as yours probably but regardless I understand what that feels like. It totally turned me off religion altogether and it wasn't until I met my wife that I finally started to practice Islam. It became very important to teach my son what religious freedom is and have him understand there is a lot of people out there that will use religion to get you to do things you don't wanna do. The story of the woman who died of cancer was heartbreaking. In December I lost my best friend and brother to a 10 year long battle with cancer. I can't imagine the pain of her poor daughter. Saying "medicine is poison" and "cancer is the devil" with the meaning that the person deserved it left me in tears I can imagine that this clip hurt Hila as well. I'm so sorry for those affected by cancer.
I really think cancer is evil....i have seen so many people dying. It's not a blessing.
