Puma is probably the most underrated song of Txt. The song itself is great but once you know the backstory behind the song it reaches a new level of poetry
Drama and 0X1=LOVESONG have a similar concept in the music videos in which the “friends” in the video are not actually “real”.
Drama’s MV follows the lyrics pretty well, contrary to the upbeat vibe of the song, in which a person thinks they are the main character, but that’s actually their delusion and they’re an extra, not even a side character. Beomgyu basically follows this group of friends around, thinking / deluding (?) himself into thinking he’s part of the group, when really he’s been an outsider the whole time.
Fun fact: A lot of people noticed that the volleyball jerseys TXT wears in the MV are the same as the jerseys as the protagonists’ team from the popular volleyball anime, Haikyu!!
Although, this is simply a theory, I think most of the fans, including me, believe this to be the most accurate (?) / main plot line of 0X1=LOVESONG:
The other members of TXT were basically a part of Yeonjun’s imagination the whole time as a coping mechanism to get away from his constantly fighting / possibly abusive parents. It starts with his parents fighting in the background and him stealing car keys to get away, where his friends magically know he snuck out and are already at his car waiting for him (even though that’s seemingly impossible), as well as the fish imagery throughout the MV, reflecting the fish tank in his room. Many people pointed out that sometimes things from daily life can blend into maladaptive daydreaming, like the fish from his fish tank, but I’m not sure how accurate that is. There’s also many scenes throughout the MV of Yeonjun having fun and dancing alone in his room or his house spliced between the moment between him and his “friends” having fun and dancing. Another point made was that the car was very obvious burning in the comedic moment with Beomgyu, but when Yeonjun woke up on a makeshift bed in what looks to be an empty parking lot of some sorts (?) (probably as a result of running away with the car keys), he was alone with no sign of harm done to the car and no friends by his side. Basically implying that the whole thing was his dream 😭
I believe some people also mentioned that Yeonjun may have been wearing a hospital bracelet but I'm not sure of how accurate it is, I didn't really notice it in the MV

The story behind Puma is actually sad and a true one. In Korea, a puma escaped a zoo, got about an hour of freedom only to be put down when caught.

you should react to txt to do, it's their variety show it's so funny, if you plan to watch it I recommend episodes 57-58, episodes 72-73 and episodes 83-84
I think it would be better if they start from ep 1 to not get confused even tho these eps might not be related to the previous ones and we should let them do TXT's full discography first ☺️
TXT songs are very meaningful even if you don't know the storyline you can still understand the song and relate to it, lovesong is so beautiful.
About puma, I don't know much details but i think it was about a puma who escaped and was shot down in south korea, the song is about that puma

I love that you guys managed to understand the meaning of Puma from the member’s perspective. TXT sort of has 2 storylines: their fictional storyline and their discography storyline which is why their albums are titled as chapters. Their first set of chapters are the dream chapters which can be interpreted as telling the story of TXT’s journey from trainees to debut. Puma is from the Eternity album which is last album in the Dream series and the album as a whole deals with facing reality after dreaming for a long time - so in this context Puma can definitely be interpreted as referring to the realities of the idol industry the member’s faced after achieving their dream of debuting, particularly the harsh backlash they unfairly received after debuting as BTS’s first junior group. Once you’ve done more reactions to their songs I hope you can check out Beomie Bear’s 2024 ultimate guide to TXT as it goes into their journey as a group, and also explains their discography based storyline a little too (plus A LOT more, it’s definitely worth it!)

Lovesong is still my favorite mv of TXT, I can remember the emotion I felt when it came out.

0x1=Lovesong is in my top 10 of all songs personally . Not just k-pop, but all time songs. It gives me all the good feelings from my youth. It reminds me of the moment during Perks of Being a Wallflower when they drive through the bridge while listening to Heroes. It feels timeless yet very nostalgic at the simultaneously.

its also worth to note that FREEZE era (0X1=LOVESONG) was where maknae line specifically found a new color in their vocals. Now due to their experience of singing the song many times, the members know how to sing songs with rock influence really well. Taehyun went to get his throat checked since he uses rasps and growls when he sings the song and surprisingly the boy is fine! healthy voice. We also joke this was Taehyun in his divorced era because he really seems to be going through it whenever he sings this painful song.

Love TXT and their wonderful music. Love Song is one of my fav… I think they always had sad lyrics even though with fun vibes or energetic choreo. I mean their 1 st comeback Runaway was a great example of that
