GOODNESS, I just saw this video on my feeds and decided to watch it just because I was eating lunch by myself at home. I started just crying from the middle to the end.. thinking... like... I have dreams and goals in life and one of them is becoming much healthier than I am today. And I question myself, I have it better than other people while others have it worse. Its amazing to see all these wonderful people strive no matter what has happened and become greater than great and keep climbing that climb in this iron man challenge and also LIFE itself. This video really brought me to tears and also given me a diff. outlook into life.... IF THEY CAN DO IT... I CAN TOO. OPTIMISM BEATS ANYTHING! THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.
What a beautiful, inspiring and humbling video. Certainly puts everything into perspective and something I can think of when I'm in the middle of a long run and I'm hurting. You're quite right, anything IS possible.
Do we really need a near death experience or a disability to force us to live our lives to the fullest? No! No more excuses. I'm getting my lazy ass of the couch and getting this Ironman thing done!

I can do the swim. Not in the same time as them, but in a somewhat reasonable time. I am very sure I can't do the bikeride, maybe in a very very very slow time. But probably not. As for the run? 100% no chance whatsoever. I can maybe run a mile when running super super slow. Anything longer or faster and I am dying
I have got a crippling addiction to alcohol. You Ironman will hopefully be my salvation. I am running every morning
